These instructions are important.
Read these instructions before use and keep
them for future reference.Your child’s safety
may be affected if you do not follow these
instructions.
Your Sleepover body and bedside stand are
high quality Silver Cross products.They meet
current British and European safety standards
and care and regular light maintenance will
ensure long service.
This pushchair is suitable from birth to 15 kgs.
If somebody unfamiliar is using your Sleepover
body and bedside stand,always ensure that
they read these instructions carefully so that
they understand how the product works best.
The Sleepover body is designed and tested to
be used with the following Silver Cross chas-
sis;Classic,Linear Compact and Linear.The
bedside stand is only designed and tested to
be used with the Sleepover body and must not
be used with any other products.
Always read all the instructions provided
carefully and remember,the safety of your
child is your responsibility.
WARNING:Itmay be dangerous toleave
your child unattended.

Usingtheharness
WARNING:Alwaysuse thecrotch
strap incombinationwith the
waist belt
2.1 To fasten the harness insert both buckle
clips into each side of the buckle.Listen
for the ‘click’.
WARNING: Always useaharness as
soon as your child can sit unaided.
2.2 To release the harness press the centre
and pull apart.The shoulder straps can be
unhooked from the buckle if required.
2.3 Your harness is fully adjustable by mov-
ing the slides (A),to make fitting easy.
‘D’rings are provided for fitting a separate
harness if required (B).Any additional
harness must comply with BS 6684.Your
child should always be harnessed in and
should never be left unattended, even for
short periods of time.
Operatingthebumperbar
3.1 To adjust your bumper bar press the
release button on either side,located
underneath the bar.
3.2 Whilst pressing both buttons, pull the
bumper towards the foot end of the body
until you hear a click.Check that both side
catches have locked.
3.3 By pressing both buttons once more,
the bumper bar can be fully removed for
greater access or cleaning.
Operatingthefootrest
4.1 To lower the footrest reach underneath
the footrest and locate the release bar.
Push this downwards and the footrest
will lower.
4.2 Gently lower the footrest into the lower
position.
4.3 The footplate is also adjustable,so as your
child grows the footplate can be stowed
up under the fabric.

Operatingthebackrestrecline
5.1 The body unit’s backrest is fully adjust-
able from upright to a lie flat position.
5.2 To adjust the seat, place the palm of your
hand on the hand rest and grip the release
catch.Squeeze to release the catch and
either lift or lower.
5.3 Remember when using the Sleepover
in the overnight cot mode always ensure
the backrest is lowered into the lowest
position.
Operatingthehood
6.1 The Sleepover hood is multi positional
and self tensioning in the upright position.
Simply hold the front hood bar and gently
lift or lower.
6.2 The hood has a simple to operate vent.
To open simply release the velcro pad,roll
up and secure with the press stud and
flap.This allows for extra ventilation on
warm summer days.
6.3 To release the hood, locate the red
‘PRESS’sign on the seat fabric
(approximately below the hood ratchet
mechanism) and press to release the clip
and lift the hood upwards.Failure to press
the release button may result in dam-
age to your product.Finally undo the two
press studs on the rear skirt of the hood.
Attachingthebody tothe
stand/chassis
7.1 Lift the fabric flap on either side of the
Sleepover body. Underneath you will dis-
cover the release handle.Always lift your
Sleepover body from this point and not
from any other point.
Position the body so that the four locking
catches on the base are directly over the
top of the support bars on your stand or
chassis. Push the body downwards so
that allfour locksclick andlocate.Give the
body a gentle lift to check all points are
securely fastened.The ‘safe and secure’
locking system operates in an identical
way on both the bedside stand or chassis.
Detachingthebody from
the stand/chassis
8.1 Gently grip the inner release catch and
slide the release hand towards the foot
end of the body.Squeeze to release the
body catches clear of the bars.The body
will now lift away from the stand/chassis
freely.
Operatingthebedsidestand
WARNING:TheBedsidestandisfor
useonlywiththe Sleepoverbodyand
with no otherpramunits,carrycots
orMosesbasketsprovidedbySilver
Cross or any other manufacturer.
When thestand isnotinuse,itmust
be folded or put away.
9.1 Locate the locking clips and push in the
direction of the arrow so that it releases
from the pin to open.
9.2 Open out the stand so the top support bar
and upright legs swing clear of the base.
9.3 To lock the stand align the locking clip
with the pin.When both sides are lined up
push the clips down so that they lock.
Now double check the stand is locked at
both sides by lifting the top support.
WARNING:Alwaysensurethe
stand is only used on a stable,
evenfloor.Neveruse on araised
surface or table.
9.4 The lower cross bars are able to rotate and
click into position to prevent or enable the
stand to gently rock.

Preparation for use as a pram
1 0 .1 To prepare your Sleepover body for use
as a pram,ensure the backrest recline is
in its lowest position,extend the bumper
bar and lift the foot rest.Finally attach the
body unit to your chosen chassis.
10.2 Now fit the cot liner,ensuring that it is the
correct way round,and that it fits snugly
over all the edges of the Sleepover body
unit. Finally check that the hood attach-
ment points are open and clear.
10.3 Now place the supplied mattress inside
the Sleepover body,ensuring that the
ventilated section is placed towards the
head end.
WARNING:Onlythemattress
supplied with yourSleepover isto be
used.Do notuseanyother mattress
with this product.Replacementor
sparemattress canonlybe
purchased through Silver Cross,
approved stockists.
10.4 A bootend apron is supplied with your
Sleepover and this must be positioned
over the foot end of your body unit and
held in place with the velcro tabs.Once
in position use the zip to fully secure the
bootend to the pram liner.
10.5 Open out your hood,this then fits by
pushing the clips into the body hood
attachment.
10.6 To fully attach your hood, there are two
press studs on the underside of the rear
panel which attach to the head end of the
Sleepover body.
10.7 Slide the Sleepover apron onto the body
unit.
10.8 Line up the press stud on one of the sides
and attach to the body, now repeat on the
other side.
Your carrycot is now ready for use.
10.9 Your Sleepover body has a ventilation
system located on the under side of the
body.To locate open the fabric cover,and
roll this away.
10 .10 The ventilation disc is now exposed.The
level of ventilation can be adjusted by
opening or closing the vent to the desired
aperture required.
Preparation for use as an
overnight cot
11.1 During the preparation for use as an
overnight cot,it is necessary to ensure
that the footrest is lifted so that it is in its
vertical position and the backrest is in its
full reclined position.
If the bumper bar is not attached,
ensure it is attached now and fully
extended.Attach Sleepover body to
the bedside stand
11.2 Attach the liner and ensure that it fits
snugly over all edges of the Sleepover
body.
11.3 Attach the bootend to the liner.
11.4 Pull over the Moses Valance ensuring a
snug fit.
11.5 Now place the supplied mattress inside
the Sleepover body,ensuring that the
ventilated section is placed towards the
head end
WARNING:Onlythemattress
supplied with yourSleepover isto
be used.Do not use any other mat-
tresswiththisproduct.Replacement
or spare mattress can only be pur-
chased through Silver Cross,
approved stockists.
11.6 Lift the velcro flaps on the Moses valance
to allow access to fit the hood.The rear of
the Moses hood can be held in position
with a velcro strip
11.7 Your overnight cot is now ready for use.
11.8 For packaging and transportation purpos-
es your Moses valance is supplied with
temporary stitching on each of the pleats,
these can be carefully removed by cutting
with a pair of scissors.

Preparation foruseas
a pushchair
12.1 To prepare your Sleepover body for use as
a pushchair,attach the body unit to your
chosen chassis and follow the instruc-
tions below.
12.2 Retract the bumper bar to its shortest
position, please see point 3.1-3.3 for how
to adjust your bumper bar.
12.3 Adjust the leg rest to the down position
and flip out the foot support if required.
Please see ponts 4.1-4.3 for how to adjust
the footrest.
12.4 Lift the backrest into the desired position.
See points 5.1-5.3 for how to adjust your
back rest .
12.5 Adjust harness accordingly for your child.
The Sleepover is supplied with a footmuff
for optional use in pushchair mode. When
using the footmuff use the appropriate
button holes to slide through the harness
webbing.
Your pushchair is now ready to use. During
warmer weather the footmuff’s front can
be unzipped and removed .
Fitting your rain cover
13.1 The Sleepover is supplied with a rain
cover.Ensure the cover is fitted properly
by aligning the zip with the hood peak,as
illustrated.
13.2 Gently pull the elasticated edge over all
fabric portions of your Sleepover and
secure in position with the velcro straps
13.3 The zip around the hood allows easy
access to your child and serves as extra
ventilation should the wet weather sub-
side.To use simply unzip and fold the rain
cover down.
13.4 The rain cover can just as easily be used in
pushchair mode.Ensure the cover is fitted
properly by aligning the zip with the hood
peak then pull the rain cover over the foot-
rest and secure in position with the velcro
straps.

Safety Notes
Your Sleepover and bedside stand is a high
quality Silver Cross product.It complies with
British Standards 1466:1998 and EN1888:2003
and with correct use and maintenance should
give good service.If,however,you should have
any problems with your Sleepover and bedside
stand,please contact your Silver Cross retailer
who will take appropriate action.

running or skating
The child should always wear a safety harness
complying with BS6684.“D”rings are provided
for the attachment of an additional harness.
These are located on the existing harness
close to where it is attached to the seat frame.
Always hold the seat when making adjust-
ments.Be sure that the parking device is on.If
you have any difficulty in folding or unfolding
the bedside stand do not force.This will cause
damage.Read the “To fold or unfold” instruc-
tions carefully. It may be unsafe to fit accesso-
ries or spare parts other than those supplied or
recommended by Silver Cross.If anyone other
than the owner is going to use the Sleepover or
bedside stand (e.g.grandparent, child minder),
please show them how to use it correctly.
WARNING:Thechildshouldbeclear of
moving parts while making adjustments.
Never leaveyour childinthe pushchairwith
the rain cover fully fitted other than in normal
outside use.

CareandMaintenance
Always check your pushchair for signs of wear.
Lubricate moving parts regularly,especially
the wheel,axles, suspension springs and lower
parts of the chassis that tend to collect dirt.
Check for freedom of movement of all lock-
ing devices.Polish metalwork with a clean,
dry cloth.To clean fabric items and seat units,
sponge area with warm, soapy water.Rinse
well with clean water to avoid staining. Allow to
dry naturally,away from direct heat and strong
sunlight.A certain degree of fading may occur
over time through everyday use.Never ma-
chine wash,tumble dry, iron or bleach.
Guarantee
All Silver Cross products are guaranteed
for a period of 12 months against faulty
workmanship,when the product is used
correctly according to the instruction manual.
