Introduction
Intended use
The device is intended as a digital daily timer
switch for use in enclosed, dry rooms and
designed for private use. It is not suitable for
commercial use. Only operate the device
individually. Do not connect several timer
switches in series. Any other use is considered
improper. The manufacturer is not liable for
damages due to improper use. Read the
entire instructions for use before using the
device. Keep these instructions for use. In-
clude the instructions for use when passing
the device on.

Only plug the device into conventional
isolated ground receptacles with an
alternating current of 230V and 50Hz.
Only connect loads within the specified
capacities of the device.
Do not cover the device. Heat accumu-
lates when covered, creating a fire
hazard.
Regularly check the device for damage.
Do not replace damaged parts but con-
tact the manufacturer or dispose of the
device in an environmentally responsible
way.
Do not open the device. Opening the
device will void the warranty.
Do not touch the device with wet hands
or bring into contact with water.
The device contains a rechargeable bat-
tery. A defective rechargeable battery
must be replaced by the manufacturer.

Disconnect the device from the power
mains to de-energise.
Do not connect devices from which
hazards could arise during unsupervised
operation (i.e. heaters).
This device is child-proofed. Both pins of
the plug must be inserted into the socket
at the same time.

winter and summer time, switch between the
12-hour or 24-hour display and return to
clock mode.

You can activate/deactivate the RANDOM
function using this button.

The abbreviations on the LC display 1mean:
MO Monday
TU Tuesday
WE Wednesday
TH Thursday
FR Friday
SA Saturday
SU Sunday

RND symbol
The RND symbol stands for RANDOM. In
this mode the device will switch the connected
loads on and off at different intervals.

Indicates the clock has been set to summer
time.
ON – AUTO – OFF
Indicates the operating mode of the device.
Program number 1-20
Indicates the program number in PROGRAM
function.
AM – PM
Indicates the hour mode.
ON – OFF
Indicates the switching state:

ON = turn-on time, OFF = turn-off time.
The switching state is only visible under
program function.
Operating mode function
The different operating modes are:
AUTO = automatic program operation,
ON = continuous operation ON,
OFF = continuous operation OFF.
Program function
This function allows the on- and off times to
be programmed for the connected load.

Clock function
This function shows the current time on the
LC display 1.
Preparation
To start up the device you must:
1. Charge the device.
2. Reset all settings.
3. Set the current time.
Charging the device
Plug the safety plug 9into a mains
socket.
Allow the rechargeable battery of the
device to charge for at least 14 hours.

Reset all settings
Press the R button 2using a pen or
another pointy object.
All settings are cleared.
Setting the current time
Note: Hold the 4or 5buttons for faster
programming.
Hold the SET button 3for approx.
5 seconds. The weekday will flash.
Using the – 4or + buttons 5set the
current weekday and confirm by pressing
the SET button 3. The number of hours
will flash.
Using the – 4or + buttons 5set the
hour and confirm by pressing the SET

button 3. The number of minutes will
flash.
Using the – 4or + buttons 5set the
minutes and confirm by pressing the SET
button 3.

Setting summer time
Simultaneously press the 11 and 4
buttons. The hour display will go back
one hour on the LC display 1and the
symbol will appear over the second
display.

buttons. The symbol will disappear

from the LC display 1and the hour
display will increase by one hour.
Setting the hour mode
The LC display 1can display the current
time in 12-hour or 24-hour mode. In 12-hour
mode AM means before 12 noon, PM after
12 noon. The default is 24-hour mode.
Setting to 12-hour mode
Hold the button 11 for approx. 3 seconds.
AM or PM will appear on the LC display 1.
Setting to 24-hour mode
Hold the button 11 for approx. 3 seconds.
AM or PM will disappear from the LC dis-
play 1.

Operation
Switching to the
clock function
The LC display 1automatically switches
back to the clock function if a function is not
used for more than 10 seconds.
Press the button 11 to manually go to
the clock function.

continuous operation
This device has the following operating modes:
