YoumustneversettheCS90tonormaloperationwhentheshipisindrydock.The
transducermaybedamagedifittransmitsinopenair.Topreventinadvertentuseofthe
CS90,pulloutthemainsplugontheProcessorUnitwheneveryourvesselisindrydock.
Additionalprecautionarymeasurersshouldbeconsidered.

IfthetransducerisloweredwhenyouturnofftheCS90,itisautomaticallyretractedto
itsupperposition.

IfyouturnofftheCS90bymeansoftheon/offswitchontheProcessorUnityoumaydamage
thesoftwareandtheinterfacesettingsusedtocommunicatewithexternaldevices.

seriousdamagetotheequipmentand/orinjurytopersonnel.Therefore,beforeyoustart

Rulesfortransducerhandling
Atransducermustalwaysbehandledasadelicateinstrument.Incorrectactionsmaydamage
thetransducerbeyondrepair.Aphysicalblowtothetransducerfacemayeasilydamageone
ormoreelements.Observethesetransducerhandlingrules:
•Donotactivatethetransducerwhenitisoutofthewater.
•Donothandlethetransducerroughlyandavoidimpacts.
•Donotexposethetransducertodirectsunlightorexcessiveheat.
•Donotdamagetheouterprotectiveskinofthetransducer.
•Donotusehigh-pressurewater,sandblasting,metaltoolsorstrongsolventstoclean
thetransducer.
•Donotsteponthetransducercables.
•Donotdamagethetransducercables,andavoidexposuretosharpobjects.
