Assembly Instructions
Before attaching handle, remove protective cap on crank shaft and
discard. Then attach handle by sliding washer over hex screw and
inserting through handle and into crank shaft. Tighten hex screw
with hex wrench provided with handle kit. Press end plug over hex
screw until firmly sealed.

Using a Sizzlits or Clearlits Die
Place Sizzlits Die onto a Cutting Pad with foam side up. Place
paper over the die. Place another Cutting Pad over the paper to
create a “sandwich.” For Clearlits Die, place die over photo or
material so that the area to be cut shows through the die.

make sandwich.

Place sandwich on Multipurpose Platform and slide Platform
into opening of Big Shot. Note the rotation of the handle and
continue to rotate it in the same direction until the Platform
has passed through the opening and the rollers. Remove
Platform from Big Shot. Your die-cut shape is ready to use! Place Cutting Pad above and below the closed Folder to
create a “sandwich.”

Using an Originals or Bigz Die
Place an Originals or Bigz Die on a Cutting Pad with foam side
up. Place paper or desired material to be cut on top of the die.
Place the second Cutting Pad on top of the paper or material to
create a “sandwich.”
Slide the sandwich into the opening of the Big Shot. Note the
rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same
direction until the sandwich has passed through the opening of
the rollers. Remove the sandwich from Big Shot. Your die-cut
shape is ready to use!

Place the sandwich on top of the Multipurpose Platform and
slide both together into the opening of the Big Shot. Note the
rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same
direction until the sandwich and Multipurpose Platform have
passed through the opening and rollers. Remove the Platform
from Big Shot, and your embossed design is ready to use!
Using Texturz Texture Plates

What Does This Warranty Cover? This warranty covers any manufacturing
defects in your Sizzix Big Shot personal cutting machine (the “Product”).
How Long Does The Warranty Last? This warranty lasts for 3 years
following your date of purchase of the Product. You should retain your
receipt as proof of purchase, which may be required in connection with
obtaining warranty service.
What Will Sizzix Do? Sizzix will repair or replace any manufacturing defects
for Products returned within 3 years following the original date of purchase.
What Does This Warranty Not Cover? This warranty does not cover
damages or defects caused by misuse or abuse of the Product, or use of
the Product for commercial, rather than personal, applications. Cutting
Pads and Platforms are excluded from this warranty.

CONSERVER CES INSTRUCTIONS
Le Sizzix®Big Shot™ est exactement ce que recherchent les

Instructions d’assemblage
1. Avant de fixer la manette, retirer le capuchon protecteur du
vilebrequin et le jeter. Fixer ensuite la manette en faisant glisser la
rondelle par-dessus la vis hexagonale puis en l’insérant à travers la
manette et dans le vilebrequin. Visser la vis hexagonale à l’aide de la
clé hexagonale fournie avec le kit de manette. Appuyer le bouchon
terminal sur la vis hexagonale jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit bien en place.
Utilisation d’une matrice Sizzlits ou Clearlits
1. Mettre la matrice Sizzlits sur un tapis de découpe avec le côté en
mousse vers le haut. Mettre le papier sur la matrice. Mettre un
autre tapis de découpe sur le papier pour créer une sorte de «
sandwich ». Dans le cas de matrices Clearlits, placer la matrice sur
la photo ou le matériau de façon que la zone à découper soit visible
à travers la matrice. Prendre ensuite en « sandwich » la photo ou le
matériau et la matrice entre les tapis de découpe.
2. Mettre le « sandwich » sur la plate-forme multi-usage et faire
glisser la plate-forme à l’intérieur du Big Shot. Noter le mouvement
de rotation de la manette, et continuer de tourner celle-ci dans le
même sens jusqu’à ce que la plate-forme ait terminé sa course à
travers l’ouverture et les rouleaux.
Utilisation d’une Pochette de Gaufrage Simple Impressions ou
d’une Matrice Embosslits Pochette de Gaufrage Simple
Impressions
1. Une fois la pochette de gaufrage Simple Impressions ou la
matrice Embosslits ouverte, insérer le papier, la feuille d’aluminium
ou tout autre matériau gaufrable, puis refermer comme un livre. (Ne
pas utiliser d’onglets de plate-forme multi-usage avec des onglets
de 6 cm.)(Utiliser un onglet de plate-forme multi-usage 1 avec des
matrices Embosslits et des pochettes de gaufrage de 10 cm et
plus.)
2. Mettre des tapis de découpe sur et sous la pochette fermée
pour créer une sorte de « sandwich ».
3. Placer le « sandwich » sur la plate-forme multi-usage et faire
glisser le tout dans l’ouverture du Big Shot. Noter le mouvement de

sur le papier. Placer le tapis d’impression sur le caoutchouc de silicone pour

2. Placer le « sandwich » sur la plate-forme multi-usage et faire glisser le
tout dans l’ouverture du Big Shot. Noter le mouvement de rotation de la
manette et continuer de tourner celle-ci dans le même sens jusqu’à ce que le
« sandwich » et la plate-forme multi-usage aient terminé leur course par
l’ouverture et entre les rouleaux. Retirer la plate-forme du Big Shot.Votre

Anweisungen zum Zusammenbau
1. Entfernen Sie vor dem Anbringen des Griffs die Schutzkappe von der
Kurbelwelle und entsorgen Sie diese. Bringen Sie dann den Griff an, indem Sie
die Distanzscheibe über die Sechskantschraube schieben und sie durch den
Griff in die Kurbelwelle einschieben. Ziehen Sie die Sechskantschraube mit
dem im Griff-Kit enthaltenen Inbusschlüssel fest. Drücken Sie den
Verschlussstopfen über die Sechskantschraube, bis ein fester Verschluss
gewährleistet ist.
Verwendung einer Sizzlits oder Clearlits Modellform
1. Legen Sie eine Sizzlits Modellform mit der Schaumseite nach oben auf eine
pier, um ein „Sandwich“ zu schaffen. Bei Clearlits Modellformen legen Sie die
Modellform über das Foto oder Material, so dass der zu stanzende Bereich
durch die Modellform durchscheint. Legen Sie dann das Foto bzw. Material und
die Modellform zwischen die Stanzplatten, um ein Sandwich herzustellen.
2. Legen Sie das Sandwich auf die Mehrzwecksockelplatte und schieben Sie
die Sockelplatte in die Öffnung des Big Shot. Beachten Sie die Drehrichtung
des Handgriffs und drehen Sie so lange in dieselbe Richtung, bis die
Sockelplatte durch die Öffnung und die Walzen hindurchgegangen ist.
Entfernen Sie die Sockelplatte vom Big Shot. Ihre mit der Modellform
gestanzte Figur kann jetzt verwendet werden!
Verwendung einer Simple Impressions Prägemappe oder Embosslits
Modellform
1. Legen Sie, während die Simple Impressions Prägemappe oder Embosslits
Modellform geöffnet ist, Papier, Folie oder sonstiges prägefähiges Material
ein, und schließen Sie diese wie ein Buch. (Mit 2 2/3-Zoll-Mappen keine
Mehrzwecksockelplattenstreifen verwenden.)

auf das Papier. Legen Sie die Impressionsauflage oben auf den Silikongummi,
um ein "Sandwich" zu schaffen.
2. Legen Sie das Sandwich auf die Mehrzwecksockelplatte und schieben Sie
beides zusammen in die Öffnung des Big Shot. Beachten Sie die Drehung des

Tips for using fabric
• Use an iron-on backing or fusible web to stiffen and
thicken the fabric to make it easier to roll through the
machine.
• When cutting felt, delicate or thin materials, place a scrap
of paper over the material to be cut.
• Using a higher-quality material with a tighter weave will
help avoid fraying and provide the best results.
• Die-cut only one layer of fabric at a time for ease and
quality of cutting.
