Overview
The Skiva PowerSkin IP5S is designed to provide backup power to your
iPhone® mobile digital device. Compatible with iPhone 5s, and compliant
with the standards set by Apple®, the IP5S makes a smart addition to your
travel electronics.

charger. Using alternate chargers may damage
the device.

Getting started
1) Connect the IP5S to your computer with the USB connector pro
vided. When connected properly, the LED lamp will illuminate.
2) Observe the charging progress in the capacity indicator.
The capacity indicator light will turn green when charging is
complete.
3) Disconnect the IP5S from your computer after the case is fully
charged. Leaving the device connected after the battery is
fully charged might reduce the battery’s capacity in future
charges.

Troubleshooting
Check the remaining power of the IP5S
Click the power button to see the remaining charging capacity. The
capacity indicator will show one of the following color statuses:
Color Capacity
Green 75% - 100%
Orange 25% - 75%
Red 10% - 25%
Flashing Red Less than 10%

Issue Resolution
The case loses the stored
charge when not in use.
Approximately 5% of the charge is
automatically dispersed when not in
use. Recharge the IP5S once every
three months.
The capacity indicator does
not illuminate after clicking the
power button.
Recharge the IP5S.
