Algemene aanwijzingen
Veiligheid
De videomonitor werkt inwendig met een hoge
elektrische spanning welke bij aanraking
gevaarlijk is. De kast is zodanig geconstrueerd
dat bij normaal gebruik de veiligheid
gegarandeerd wordt. Steek geen (metalen)
voorwerpen door de ventilatieopeningen van de
kast. Stel de installatie niet bloot aan vocht. De
kabel naar de camera transporteert een lage
ongevaarlijke voedingsspanning en het
videosignaal. Leg deze kabel zodanig dat deze
niet losgetrokken kan worden of beklemd kan
raken. Eventuele reparaties aan de set dienen
verricht te worden door erkende servicetechnici.
Toepassingen
De SkyTronic video bewakingsset kent vele
handige toepassingen zoals: bewaking van
winkels, kantoren, de garage, het zwembad, de
vijver, de babykamer en natuurlijk deuren en
andere toegangen.

Door de handige 2-weg intercomfunctie kunt u
gemakkelijk communiceren met bezoekers. De
camera is voorzien van een (onzichtbare)
infrarood verlichting voor de donkere uren.
De meegeleverde verbindingskabel heeft een
lengte van ± 20 meter. Deze kabel kan eventueel
nog met een lengte van maximaal 20 meter
worden verlengd. Zie s.v.p. ‘accessoires’ op de
laatste pagina. Op de monitor kunnen twee
camera’s worden aangesloten waarvan de
beelden naar keuze handmatig of automatisch
weergegeven worden. Bij automatische weergave
kan de scantijd ingesteld worden van 1 tot 30
sec.
De weergegeven beelden kunnen met een
videorecorder worden opgenomen. De monitor is
voorzien van Cinch (tulp) uitgangen voor het
video- en audiosignaal. Deze signalen moeten bij
de videorecorder worden aangesloten op de
zogenaamde A/V ingang. Met een passende
verloopkabel kan hiervoor ook de Scart ingang
worden gebruikt.
Wanneer twee camera’s zijn aangesloten en
afwisselend beelden worden getoond welke
worden opgenomen, verdient het aanbeveling de
scantijd niet korter in te stellen dan ongeveer 5
sec . Dit om een stabiel beeld te verkrijgen.

Installatie
De camera kan gemonteerd worden op de (vaste)
montagevoet of op de verplaatsbare klem. Beide
onderdelen zijn voorzien van een verstelbare
draaikop zodat de camera nauwkeurig uitgericht
kan worden. Zie de afbeelding hieronder.
N.B.! vergeet niet de beschermfolie voor de lens
te verwijderen. U krijgt anders een onduidelijk en
wazig beeld.
Sluit de meegeleverde videokabel aan op de
monitor en de CCD camera en verbind de
netadapter met de spanningsingang op de
achterzijde van de monitor (zie afb.). Steek de
stekker in het stopcontact en schakel daarna de
set in door de toets ‘POWER’ op de voorzijde van

de monitor in te drukken. Het signaallampje (2)
moet nu gaan branden. Druk op de juiste
camerakeuzetoets (C1 of C2). Met de
draaiknoppen (BRIT) en (CONT) op de achterzijde
van de monitor kunt u vervolgens helderheid en
contrast van het weergegeven beeld instellen.
Bij gebruik van twee camera’s kunt u het beeld
handmatig kiezen door de keuzetoets C1 of C2 in
te drukken. Automatische camerakeuze is
mogelijk door de toets ‘AUTO’ in te drukken. De
scantijd kunt u instellen tussen 1 en 30 sec. door
middel van de draaiknop ‘TIME’ op de voorzijde
van de monitor.

Intercomfunctie
De SkyTronic videobewakingsset is voorzien van
een unieke 2-weg intercom. De in de CCD camera
ingebouwde gevoelige microfoon geeft het
opgevangen geluid door naar de monitor. Het
volume kunt u naar wens instellen door middel
van de draaiknop ‘VOL’ op de voorzijde van de
monitor. Wilt u terugspreken druk dan de toets
‘TALK” in. De luidspreker in de camera geeft dan
het geluid weer.

General Recommendations
Safety
The monitor contains high voltages which may
cause shock hazard. Do not open the case. Do
not insert metal parts through the ventilation
slots. Do not expose the installation to humidity.
The cable to the camera contains safe low
voltage and the video signal. Put the cable in
such a way that it can neither be squeezed nor
pulled. All repairs must be carried out by a
qualified technician.
Applications
The SkyTronic CCTV set has many useful
applications such as: observation of shops,
offices, garages, swimming pools, garden pools,
baby rooms and of course doors and other
entries.
The 2-way intercom function allows you to
communicate easily with a visitor. The camera
includes an infrared light source for night
viewing.

The supplied 20m connecting cable can be
extended by another cable of max. 20m length
(see ‘Accessories’ on the last page). The monitor
accepts up to two cameras that can be selected
manually or automatically. In case of automatic
selection, the channel switching time is
adjustable between 1 and 30 seconds.
To record the pictures on your VCR, you can
connect the RCA outputs (video and audio
signal) on the monitor to the A/V input of your
VCR. An appropriate adapter cable allows you to
use also the scart input for this connection.
If you have connected two cameras and you
record the pictures, it is recommended to set the
channel switching time at least at 5 seconds in
order to get a stable picture.

The camera can be mounted on a fixed mounting
bracket or a removable clamp bracket. Both parts
contain an adjustable rotating head which allows
an accurate orientation of the camera (see
figure).
Note! Do not forget to remove the protection foil
from the lens. Otherwise you will get an unsharp
picture.
Connect the supplied video cable to the monitor
and the CCD camera. Plug the mains adapter into
the power socket at the rear of the monitor (see
fig.). Plug the ac/dc adapter in a wall outlet. Press
the ‘POWER’ button on the front side of the
monitor to switch the unit on. The power LED (2)
will light. Push the appropriate camera selection
button (C1 or C2). Set the brightness and
contrast with the rotating buttons ‘BRIT’ and
‘CONT’ at the rear side of the monitor.
If two cameras are connected, you can select the
channel manually by pressing the selection
buttons C1 or C2. Press the ‘AUTO’ button for
automatic camera selection. Set the channel
switching time between 1 and 30 seconds via the
‘TIME’ button on the front side of the monitor.

Intercom function
The SkyTronic CCTV set has a built-in 2-way
intercom. The detected sound is transmitted to
the monitor via the microphone that is
incorporated into the CCD camera. The volume is
set via the ‘VOL’ button on the front of the
monitor. If you want to answer the call, press the
‘TALK’ button. The speaker in the camera will
reproduce the sound.

Recommandations générales
Sécurité
Le moniteur vidéo contient de hautes tensions
dont le contact est dangereux. Le boîtier
constitue une sécurité suffisante pour une
utilisation normale. N’introduisez aucun objet
(métallique) dans les fentes de ventilation du
boîtier. Ne pas exposer l’installation à l’humidité.
Le câble vers la caméra achemine une basse
tension sans danger ainsi que le signal vidéo.
Passez le câble de façon à ce qu’il ne puisse être
ni débranché, ni touché. Confiez les réparations
éventuelles à un technicien qualifié.
Applications
Le kit de vidéosurveillance SkyTronic convient à
un grand nombre d’applications telles que :
surveillance de magasins, de bureaux, de
garages, d’une piscine, d’un étang , d’une
chambre d’enfant et bien sûr de portes et autres
voies d’accès.
La fonction d’interphone vous permet de
communi-quer facilement en duplex avec les

visiteurs. La caméra est équipée d’un éclairage
infrarouge invisible pour l’obscurité.
Le câble de raccordement fourni d’env. 20m peut
être rallongé de 20m au maximum (voir
‘Accessoires’ à la dernière page). Vous pouvez
connecter deux caméras au moniteur dont les
images sont commutables manuellement ou
automatiquement. Dans le cas d’une
commutation automatique, la durée d’apparition
de l’image est réglable de 1 à 30 secondes.
Les images peuvent être enregistrées sur un
magnétoscope. Le moniteur est équipé de sorties
RCA pour le signal audio et vidéo. Vous devez
connecter ces signaux à l’entrée A/V de votre
magnétoscope. Vous pouvez également utiliser
l’entrée Péritel au moyen d’un câble adaptateur.
Lorsque vous avez connecté deux caméras et
que les images sont transmises en alternance et
enregistrées, il est recommandé de ne pas régler
la durée de transmission en dessous de 5
secondes afin d’obtenir des images stables.
Installation
Vous pouvez monter la caméra sur un support de
montage fixe ou sur la pince amovible. Ces deux
accessoires sont équipés d’une rotule afin de

permettre une orientation précise de la caméra
(voir fig. ci-dessous).
N.B.! N’oubliez pas de retirer la pellicule de
protec-tion de la lentille, sinon vous obtiendrez
une image floue.
Branchez le câble vidéo fourni sur l’écran et la
caméra CCD. Connectez l’adaptateur secteur à
l’entrée d’alimentation au dos du moniteur (voir
fig.). Branchez la fiche sur le secteur et appuyez
sur le bouton ‘POWER’ en façade de l’écran. Le
voyant (2) s’allume. Appuyez sur la touche de
sélection de caméra C1 ou C2. Les boutons
(BRIT) et (CONT) au dos du moniteur permettent
de régler la luminosité et le contraste de l’image.
