SMC Networks SMC8511WG User manual

OVERVIEW
The SMC8511WG Outdoor Multi-Radio Wireless Access Point with integrated DOCSIS cable modem offers
cable operators a quick and easy method to extend the reach of their existing DOCSIS networks and to
increase service offerings within their current infrastructure without a cable drop. In addition to plant
extension applications, the SMC8511WG can also serve as an Access Point allowing multiple PCs to connect
from a public hotspot. The ruggedized, industrial design of the SMC8511WG can withstand harsh outdoor
environments, and the dual external antennas provide extended wireless coverage.
