936SH features a built-in solar charger.
Charge with direct or indirect sunlight.
.Use solar charging as a supplement to
Desktop Holder (included)/AC Charger
(sold separately) charging.

Charging starts automatically when Solar
Panel is exposed to sufficient sunlight
(Solar Indicator lights green; see right).
.Before use, read and remove Solar Panel
precaution label (Japanese).
.For safe charging, charge for up to
approximately 90 minutes.
.Solar charging is possible even when
handset power is off.
.For efficient charging, turn Solar Panel so
sun's rays strike it perpendicularly; adjust
angle according to sun position.
Use Solar Indicator to
check solar charging
status.

Charging Precautions

Battery cannot be charged using electric light.
.
Solar charging is not available when:
,Handset is extremely hot or cold
,Remaining charge is approximately
75% or more
.Make sure Solar Panel faces sunlight
with handset closed.
.Avoid leaving handset in extreme heat
(inside vehicles, on asphalt, etc.).
Handset may overheat, resulting in
malfunction or burn injuries.
.Handset may be hot during/after solar
charging.
.Solar charging may be unavailable
depending on weather/usage conditions.

Solar charging stopped; open
handset to check battery
strength. Solar charging is not
available if battery is adequately
charged (approximately 75% or
more) or sunlight is insufficient.
Orange
Solar charging warning: If
handset is hot, move to a cool
place; if cold, move to a warmer
place. If handset temperature is
moderate and Solar Indicator
remains orange, temperature
sensor malfunction may have
occurred. Take handset to a
SoftBank Shop.
Off Insufficient sunlight; solar
charging not available
