Ultra Slim Design
Thinner than a CD case, the W880’s ultra-thin profile is accentuated
by a high-quality stainless-steel front and a soft-tough finish back
that draw both the eye and hand to this truly beautiful addition to the
Walkman®phone product line.
Complete Walkman®Package
• Stereo Portable: the W880 delivers a rocking audio experience
right out of the box. If preferred, a 3.5 mm adaptor lets you plug
in other headphones of your choosing.
• 1GB Memory Stick Micro™(M2™)*: stores between 240 (MP3)
songs or up to 960 (eAAC+) songs. Even higher capacity memory
cards are available as optional accessories.
• USB cable & Disc2Phone software: the tools you need to
easily rip and transfer music to your phone.
Walkman®Player 2.0
The Walkman®Player is the W880’s hub for enjoying not only music but
also video clips you have recorded or downloaded. When you select the
Walkman®logo on the W880’s main menu desktop, the player opens to
the last track that was played. To play something else, select More > My
Music to access your collection by artist, album, or track. You can even
create playlists with the W880.
TrackID™**
Have you ever been out at a club, heard some music playing, and
wanted to know the song title or artist? Now you can find out with
the W880’s TrackID™
. TrackID™captures a snippet of the song,
queries its online database, and sends you the artist name, song
title, and album title, all in less time than it would take to fight your
way to the DJ booth.
Bluetooth®2.0 Stereo Technology (A2DP)
Wireless hands-free is by far the most popular application of Bluetooth®
technology. The W880 takes a great thing and makes it better, with
Bluetooth®stereo streaming (when paired with a compatible
Bluetooth®headset).
2 Megapixel Camera with PictBridge
Never miss a shot with the W880’s 2 megapixel camera,
capturing pictures worth sharing and printing. Printing pictures
is a breeze because the W880 supports PictBridge, which allows
you to connect the W880 directly to a PictBridge compatible printer
(like the Sony DPP-FP90) using the included USB cable.
There’s even the opportunity to fine-tune your pictures with your
W880 before you print or send. PhotoDJ™lets you adjust light balance,
contrast, brightness, rotation, and red-eye. Just take the shot, then
select More> Edit in PhotoDJ.
RSS Reader
Working in tandem with the W880’s browser, the RSS Reader delivers
news headlines right to your phone. If a headline is of interest, select it
and the browser will link to the page where you can read the full story.
**TrackID requires a compatible service plan. Additional charges may apply. See your service provider for details.
