Features
An astonishingly immersive home theater experience
Features the same technology and resolution found in high-end, professional 4K movie theaters, providing an astonishingly
immersive home theater experience. 4K resolution is 4096 x 2160 pixels. That’s more than 4 times 1080p. Add a 200,000:1
dynamic contrast ratio, 1,700 ANSI lumen brightness, and Deep Color support and the VPL-VW600ES pulls you into your
favorite movies like no HD home theater projector you’ve ever experienced.
Recommended for up to a 200" screen
Because the VPL-VW600ES has such high resolution and brightness, you can install a 200" screen and still experience an
astonishingly crisp and bright picture in 2D. (Up to 150" if you want to use 3D.)
Enjoy your favorite 1080p HD movies and shows in 4K
Watch your favorite HD movies and television shows in 4K with Super Resolution upscaling. Sony’s proprietary Reality
Creation algorithm makes your best video content look better than ever before. And Sony’s proprietary “Mastered in 4K”
algorithm faithfully reproduces specially prepared movies to match the original 4K images.
Get the most out of your Sony 4K projector
The available 4K Ultra HD Media Player comes preloaded with 10 bonus feature lms and video shorts, and Sony’s Video
Unlimited 4K network video service provides access to a library of 4K movies and TV shows.3Control it all with a Sony
Tablet, both of which are optional.
Integrate into virtually any home environment
Installing the VPL-VW600ES is easy with its motorized lens, 85%(v)/31% (h) motorized shi and wide throw distance range.
Having a front air intake and exhaust allows the VPL-VW600ES to be positioned near a wall without having to worry about
cooling issues. Access to the lamp through a panel on top of the unit allows lamp changes without un-mounting the
projector.
Immersive, vibrant picture for any environment
By simply choosing the appropriate preset, the VPL-VW600ES’s 1,700 ANSI lm brightness and Deep color can be adjusted
for the ideal picture quality in any environment—whether gaming or watching sports in a lit room, or enjoying movies in a
dark theater.
