Water / Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used near
water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.

Ventilation
Do not block areas of ventilation opening. Failure to do could result in re. Always
install according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for
safety.
Power Cord and Plug
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conve-
nience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not defeat
the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
poles; a grounding-type plug has two poles and a third grounding terminal. The third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, refer
to an electrician for replacement.
Power Supply
In case of external power supply, the apparatus should be connected to the power sup-
ply only of the type as marked on the apparatus or described in the manual. Failure to
do could result in damage to the product and possibly the user. Unplug this apparatus
during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Fuse
To prevent the risk of re and damaging the unit, please use only of the recommend-
ed fuse type as described in the manual. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the unit
turned off and disconnected from the AC outlet.
Electrical Connection
Improper electrical wiring may invalidate the product warranty.
Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer
all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attachments or
parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Warning
Please remember the high sound pressure do not only temporarily damage your sense
of hearing, but can also cause permanent damage. Be careful to select a suitable vol-
ume.
Interference from cell phone
Using a cell phone near the wireless system can induce noise. If this occurs, move the
cell phone further away from the components of the wireless system.

SOUNDSATION WF-V21 is the answer to all those who need a reliable, high-quality
sound, and easy to use wireless microphone system. Ideal in educational, Portable
Sound, Public Address, and DJ contexts, the WF-V21 impresses with its brilliant and
warm sound, thanks to the quality of components and the capsule designed for all
application. WF-V21 systems are available in 2 congurations:

1. Power Switch: It switches on and off the receiver.

2. Power ON LED: When the unit in switched on it is lit.
3. RF LED A & B: When lit, it means that transmitters are active and the unit receives
radio-frequency signals. If these LEDs are off even though transmitters are pow-
ered on, it means that batteries are low, or transmitters and receiver frequencies
aren’t matched.
4. Volume Knob A & B: They increase or decrease output levels of BALANCED A & B
outputs, as well as unbalanced MIX output.
5. Antenna A & B: They receive RF signals from transmitters.
6. Mix Output: It is the MIX (that is A+B) unbalanced audio line output with ¼”
Jack to use in case of connection to mixers or audio equipment with unbalanced
connections.
7. Balance Outputs A & B: They are the balanced XLR audio line outputs to connect
to your mixer or audio system. For more details about the internal wiring of bal-
anced cables, refer to paragraph "9. AUDIO CABLES" at page 11.
8. DC Input: Connect here the external power supply (12V – 500mA).
6. HANDHELD MICROPHONE FUNCTIONS
WF-V21HH system features two handheld transmitters with
professional dynamic cardioid capsules. Below there’s a quick
description of main parts.
9. Grille: It protects the microphone capsule. Never remove it to
prevent damage to the internal parts of the microphone.
10. ON/MUTE/OFF Selector: This selector has 3 positions.
When it’s all to the OFF position, the microphone is turned
off; when it is MUTE position, the microphone is active but
the audio is disabled; nally, when it’s all to ON position, the
microphone is working and the audio is active.
NOTE: Standby central position allows the unit to
transmit without audio. This option is important to prevent
interference in the receiver due to the absence of a radio
transmitting signal. It is, therefore, suggested to ALWAYS use
this standby position when you temporarily don’t sing or play
but the wireless microphone is connected to an audio system
(e.g. during a pause in a show). You can move the switch to OFF position (all
down) only when you are sure that the sound system volume is low.
11. Power LED: It briey lights up when the transmitter is on. In case of battery low,
it keeps on lighting, warning that you need to replace the batteries as soon as

possible.
12. Battery Slot: unscrew the cover to access battery-compartment and insert or
replace the batteries. Use two 1.5V AA-Type batteries, paying attention to correct
polarity (indicated on bottom of this battery compartment).

ATTENTION: Operating distance between microphone grill and mouth must be
less than 15cm
fAvoid direct the microphone toward a speaker to avoid Larsen effect, which could
damage your audio system.

16. Volume: Adjust the audio input level of the trans-
mitter. Use this knob to adapt microphone signal
level in order to prevent distorted sound.
17. Antenna: It transmits the radio signal. Be careful not to bend or break this termi-
nal.
18. Battery Slot: Insert two 1.5V AA-Type batteries, paying attention to correct polar-
ity (indicated on bottom of this battery compartment). After that, pull the switch
to “ON” side, if Power LED doesn’t light brieu, check whether battery in correct
polarity or is low of power. If the Power LED is always lit, please change with new
batteries.
19. Battery Slot Cover: Open this cover to access to insert or replace the batteries.
Following the instructions for their replacement:
fApply a slight pressure at both sides of the door and pull down.
fInsert or replace the batteries in the compartment, observing the +/- polarity
marked on the bottom.
fClose the cover to prevent batteries to be lost during use.
8. SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Before using the system, please be sure that the receiver is correctly placed at a
distance of about 1m from oor, and 1m from walls or other big physical obstacles
(columns or other radio-frequency equipment).

fPull out receiver antenna (5) and
make it to be perpendicular with the

to the DC input socket (8). Make sure
that mains voltage of the adapter is
suitable with your mains outlet volt-
age before using the receiver.
fConnect balanced audio outputs (7)
or the unbalanced (6) to your mixer
or sound system, using the appropriate cables (see following section "9. AUDIO
CABLES" at page 11 for further details).
fTurn on the receiver by pressing POWER button (1); power LED (2) will light up.
NOTE: Before switching on the Receiver, turn volume control knobs (4) to mini-
mum, adjust the volume as needed when the Receiver is working.
9. AUDIO CABLES
You need XLR balanced cables for connections to your audio equipment. See the
pictures below that show the internal wiring of these cables. Be sure to use only high
quality cables (visit our website www.soundsationmusic.com for further details).

You can, of course, connect even unbalanced equipment to balanced outputs. Use ei-
ther mono and stereo jack, making sure ring and collar are connected together (or pins

11. WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic
to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing
faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual
parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a
warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION
dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the
original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE
CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service
center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the prod-
uct.

1. Tasto Power: accende e spegne il ricevitore.
2. Led Power On: si accende quando il ricevitore è acceso
3. LED RF A & B: Quando sono accesi, signica che i trasmettitori sono attivi e l’unità riceve
i segnali in radiofrequenza. Se i LED sono spenti anche se i trasmettitori sono accesi,
signica che le batterie sono scariche, o le frequenze dei trasmettitori e del ricevitore
non corrispondono.
4. Manopole Volume A & B: Aumentano o diminuiscono il livello di uscita delle uscite
bilanciate A & B e MIX.
5. Antenne A & B: Ricevono i segnali RF dai trasmettitori.
6. Uscita MIX: E’ l’uscita audio di linea sbilanciata (A + B) con jack da 6,3mm, da
utilizzare in caso di collegamento a mixer o apparecchiature audio con connessioni
sbilanciate.
7. Uscite Bilanciate A & B: Sono le uscite bilanciate XLR audio per la connessione al

mixer o al sistema audio. Per ulteriori dettagli sul cablaggio interno dei cavi bilan-
ciati, fare riferimento al paragrafo “21. CONNESSIONI AUDIO” a pagina 32.
8. Ingresso DC: collegare qui l’alimentatore esterno (12V - 500mA).
18.FUNZIONI DEL MICROFONO PALMARE
Il sistema WD-V11H è dotato di un trasmettitore a mano con
capsula cardioide professionale dinamica. Qui di seguito c’è una
rapida descrizione delle parti principali
9. Griglia: Protegge la capsula del microfono. Non rimuoverla
mai al ne di prevenire danneggiamenti alle parti interne del
microfono
10. Selettore ON/MUTE/OFF: Questo selettore ha 3 posizio-
ni. Quando è tutto in posizione OFF, il microfono è spento;
quando è in posizione MUTE, il microfono è attivo, ma l’audio
è disattivato; inne, quando è tutto in posizione ON, il micro-
fono funziona e l’audio è attivo.
La posizione centrale di standby consente all’unità di
trasmettere senza audio. Questa opzione è importante per
evitare interferenze nel ricevitore in assenza di un segnale ra-
dio trasmittente. E’, quindi, suggerito di utilizzare SEMPRE la
posizione di standby quando temporaneamente non si canta o
non si suona, ma il microfono senza li è collegato ad un sistema audio (per
esempio durante una pausa in uno spettacolo). È possibile spostare l’interrut-
tore in posizione OFF (tutto spento) solo quando si è sicuri che il volume del
sistema audio è basso.
11. Power LED: Si accende brevemente quando il trasmettitore è acceso. In caso di
batteria scarica, rimane illuminato, avvertendo che è necessario sostituire le batte-
rie al più presto.
12. Vano batteria: Svitare il coperchio per accedere al vano batteria e inserire o so-
stituire le batterie. Utilizzare due batterie 1.5V tipo AA, prestando attenzione alla
corretta polarità (indicata sul fondo di questo vano batterie).

ATTENZIONE: La distanza operativa tra la griglia del microfono e la bocca deve
essere inferiore a 15 centimetri
fNon direzionare il microfono verso un altoparlante per evitare l’effetto Larsen, che
potrebbe danneggiare il sistema audio.
19.TRASMETTITORE TASCABILE E ARCHETTO
13. Ingresso del microfono: Inserire qui il connettore audio auricolare.
14. Power LED: Si accende quando il trasmettitore acceso.

posizione OFF, il microfono è spento; quando è in posizione MUTE, il microfono è
attivo, ma l’audio è disattivato; inne, quando è tutto in posizione ON, il microfono
funziona e l’audio è attivo.
NOTA: La posizione centrale di standby consente all’unità di trasmettere senza
audio. Questa opzione è importante per evitare interferenze nel ricevitore
in assenza di un segnale radio trasmittente. E’, quindi, suggerito di utilizzare
