humanbody)arenotallowed.Thepipettecontrollermayonlybeoperatedbyskilledpersonnel
whohavereceivedtheappropriatetraining.Allusersmusthavereadtheusermanualcare-
fullyandmusthavebecomefamiliarwiththedevice‘smodeofoperation.

battery
WARNING! Incorrect or damaged power supplies can lead to severe
personal injury or damage to the device.
Incorrectordamagedpowersuppliescancauseelectricshockorcausethe
devicetooverheat,catchre,melt,shortcircuit,orcausesimilardamage.
›Useonlysuppliedthepowersupplytochargethedevice.Thecorrectpower
supplycanbeidentiedbythe‚ErgoOneFAST‘nameontheunit.
›DonotuseadamagedPowersupply.
WARNING! Personal injury caused by incorrect handling
of the rechargeable battery.
›Donotdisassembleormodifytherechargeablebattery.

supplyintotheconnectorsocket.

For a fully discharged rechargeable
battery,thisisabout3hours.
You can continue using the pipette
controllerduringthechargingprocess.

Thebatterycapacitycanbepreservedoveritsservicelifetoagreatextent.
5.1.2 Long periods without operation –
with charging stand
› Thepipettecontrollercanbestored,connectedtothechargingstand.
Thebatterychargewillbeautomaticallymonitoredandrecharged.
5.1.3 Long periods without operation –
without charging stand
1. Completelychargethebatterybeforehandifthepipettecontrollerisnottobeusedfor
aperiodlongerthan4weeks.
2. Thebatteryshouldbecompletelyrechargedevery2months.

positionedsecurelyandair-tight.

Measuringpipettesandvolumetricpipettesaredividedinto3classes:A,ASandB.
ClassAandASpipettesaremoreprecisethanClassBpipettes.Theyvaryaccordingtothe
elapsetime,whichdependsonthenominalvolumeandthedesign.ClassASpipettesare
quick-drainpipettes.
Volumetricpipetteshave1or2marksandareadjustedtoflow-out.Measuringpipettes
haveascaleandaredividedinto4types.

The liquid aspiration speed is regulated continuously by controlling the pressure on the
controlbuttons,i.e.howfarinthebuttonispressed.
