following recommendations.
Do not try to open the equipment, may cause malfunction.
Warranty is void if you open the case.
Do not expose the device to extreme weather.
Do not use or store the equipment near wet places. May cause

CONTROLS
1.- Power LED.
Light on when the equipment plugs to an AC household outlet.
2.- Link / ACT LED.
Light on when the equipment is connected to a RJ45 port / ashes when
there’s reception or transmission of data.
3.- RJ45 connector.
Allows you to plug devices to switch.
4.- AC power adaptor.
Allows you to plug the AC power adaptor included in the package.

INSTALATION
Decide where you want to place the switch. Find a  at horizontal
surface such as a table, desk or shelf. The switch comes with a
wall-mounting screws to place it vertically.
Make sure the selected location is:
- Not in direct sunlight
- Not near a heater or heating vent
- Not cluttered or crowded. There should be at least 2 inches
of clear space on all sides of the switch.
- Well ventilated
Also, you’ll need a Category 5 (Cat 5) Ethernet cable with RJ45
connectors for each device you want to connect into the switch. Each
Ethernet cable must be smaller than 328 feet.
1.- Place the switch on a  at surface or hook onto the screws.
2.- For each device, insert one end of an Ethernet cable into the port in
the device and insert the other end into one of the Ethernet ports on the
switch.
3.- Connect the power’s adapter cord into the switch and then plug the
adapter into an AC household outlet. The Power light should light up.
The corresponding port number for each connected and powered
device should light and  ash when activity occurs.

switch, you must do it through a hub or another switch.
If any light doesn’t operate as we indicated, refers to
Troubleshooting section.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and
materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product
box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to customer, as well as
warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries,
failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper
safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.

CONTROLES
1.- Indicador de encendido.
Enciende cuando el equipo se conecta a un tomacorriente.
2.- Indicador de actividad / enlace.
Enciende cuando un equipo está conectado al puerto RJ45
correspondiente / parpadea cuando hay transmisión o recepción de
datos.
3.- Conectores RJ45.
Permite conectar hasta 8 dispositivos al switch.
4.- Adaptador de corriente.
Permite conectar el adaptador de corriente suministrado.

INSTALACION
Decida donde desea colocar el switch. Localice una super cie
horizontal como un escritorio o mesa. El switch incluye tornillos para
colocarlo verticalmente.
Asegúrese de que el lugar seleccionado:
- No le de la luz del sol directamente.
- No esté cerca de lugares calientes o aire caliente.
- El switch debe tener por lo menos 5 centímetros de espacio
libre alrededor.
- Que esté bien ventilado.
Además, requiere un cable categoría 5 (Cat 5) con conectores RJ45
para cada equipo que desee conectar al switch. Cada cable de Ethernet
debe ser menor a 100 metros.
1.- Coloque el switch en una supercie plana o en la pared.
2.- Para cada dispositivo, inserte una de las terminales del cable de
Ethernet en el puerto del dispositivo que desee utilizar y la otra terminal
en uno de los puertos del switch.
3.- Conecte el adaptador de corriente en el switch y el extremo contrario
en un tomacorriente casero. La luz indicadora de energía se
enciende así como los números de los puertos conectados. Si existe
alguna transmisión o recepción de datos, el indicador parpadea.

Si conecta más de 8 dispositivos al switch, debe instalar un Hub u
otro switch a este equipo. Si ninguna luz se enciende, consulte la
sección de Problemas y soluciones.

Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano
de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de

CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue
adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar
defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos
por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la
recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la
garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como
hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas
posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa
comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor
puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa
presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
