Before using your new Electronic Clinical Oral Thermometer, read this
instruction manual to avoid any malfunctions.
IMPORTANT
Do not bump the thermometer
Warranty is void if you try to dissemble the device
Do not use this device near water sources or humid places
Do not place the thermometer in the fire
Use a soft dry cloth to clean the device, also it is recommendable to use
alcohol to sterilize it
Do not use solvents
Do not expose to direct sun light
Do not open the thermometer, except for battery replacing

REPLACING THE BATTERY
1.- If the LCD screen looks blur or black, it means you should replace the battery.
2.- Remove the battery compartment cover and pull out the old battery using a
toothpick.
3.- Place the new battery (button type, 1,5V LR41), please check the polarity.
4.- Replace the cover and check the LCD screen.
HOW TO USE
1.- Before using, disinfect the tip of the sensor with alcohol.
2.- Press the on / off button once, the message 188.8E will display in the screen
and you will hear a beep.
3.- After few seconds, the screen will show “L” and °C, then the thermometer is
ready for use.
4.- Put the tip of the sensor under the tongue, keep your mouth close to
measure the temperature.
5.- Wait for 1 minute to know the current temperature. The result will be
displayed in the screen and the alarm will beep for 4 seconds. Now the process
is complete.
6.- The thermometer will power off after 10 minutes after their use, but we
recommend to power it of manually to save energy.
7.- Keep the thermometer in a safe place inside of their storage after their use.
If the temperature of the environment is higher than 32°C, the thermometer
will measure it instead of the body.
After their first use, when you power on the thermometer, it will display the
last measurement for 2 seconds.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date
of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase
ticket, product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of
charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim
was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as
well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky
batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized
personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or

IMPORTANTE
No deje caer el termómetro
No intente desarmar el equipo, es causa de anulación de garantía
No coloque el termómetro en el agua o en lugares húmedos o mojados
No coloque el termómetro en el fuego
Para su limpieza utilice un paño seco y esterilice con alcohol
No utilice ningún tipo de solvente para su limpieza
No exponga el equipo a la luz del sol de forma directa
No abra el termómetro, excepto para reemplazo de batería

REEMPLAZO DE LA BATERÍA
1.-Si la pantalla se vea borrosa o negra significa que la batería debe ser
reemplazada.
2.-Retire la tapa que cubre la batería y saque la batería vieja con un objeto
puntiagudo tal como una pluma o un palillo.

3.-Coloque una batería nueva tipo botón LR41 de 1,5V con el lado positivo hacia
arriba.
4.-Cubra nuevamente la batería con la tapa y revise que la pantalla funcione
correctamente.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1.- Antes de utilizar el equipo desinfecte la punta del sensor con alcohol.
2.- Presione el botón de encendido / apagado una vez, en la pantalla aparecerá
188.8E y escuchará un bip.
3.- Después de unos segundos la pantalla mostrará la letra “L” y °C, entonces el
termómetro estará listo para usarse.
4.- Coloque la punta del sensor debajo de la lengua, mantenga la boca cerrada
para comenzar la medición.
5.- Espere por 1 minuto para conocer la temperatura actual del cuerpo. El
resultado lo podrá ver en la pantalla y la señal de alarma sonará durante 4
segundos indicando al usuario que el proceso ha finalizado.
6.- Este termómetro se apagara automáticamente en 10 minutos
aproximadamente después de usarse, pero se recomienda apagarlo
manualmente con el fin de ahorrar energía.
7.- Después de utilizar el termómetro debe guardarlo en su estuche y ponerlo en
el botiquín o en un lugar seguro.
Si la temperatura de la habitación es superior a 32.0°C, la pantalla mostrara
la temperatura de la habitación y no la del cuerpo.
Después del primer uso, cuando encienda el termómetro, aparecerá la
última medición realizada por 2 segundos.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas
sus partes y mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y
funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto,
en donde fue adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto
en caso de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los
gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días,
contados a partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los
sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y
accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las
direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES
CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las
normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el
instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no
autorizado por Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la
propia
casa comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se
extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le
expida otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de
compra o factura respectiva.
