Supply this appliance only from a grounded system. A
green terminal (or a wire connector marked “G”, “GR”,
“GROUND”, OR “GROUNDING”) is provided for wiring the
appliance. To reduce the risk of electric shock, connect
this terminal or connector to the grounding terminal of
the electric service or supply panel with a continuous
copper wire in accordance with the electrical installa-
tion code.
!
WARNING Injury
The appliance may be used by children aged3 and older
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

pg. 14.
Where children or persons with limited physical, sensory or men-
tal abilities are allowed to use this water heater, we recommend
a permanent temperature limit. The following limitation options
are available:
- User adjustable: Temperature limit (childproofing)
- Qualified contractor adjustable: "Internal anti-scalding
protection"
!

3. Water heater description
The water heater switches on automatically as soon as you open
the hot water valve at the tap. When you close the tap, the water
heater switches off again automatically.
The water heater heats water as it flows through it. The DHW out-
let temperature can be variably adjusted. From a certain flow rate,
the control unit regulates the correct heating output, subject to
the temperature selected and the current cold water temperature.
The compact instantaneous water heater with full electronic con-
trol and automatic output matching maintains a consistent outlet
temperature. The water is heated precisely to the selected tem-
perature by the electronic control unit with motorized valve. This
occurs regardless of the inlet temperature.
If the water heater is operated with preheated water and the inlet
temperature exceeds the selected set temperature, the inlet tem-
perature will be displayed on the second row of the screen and
will flash. The water is not heated further.
The compact instantaneous water heater with full electronic con-
trol allows you to save different temperatures and apply them
quickly. The water heater is equipped with functions to perma-
nently limit the temperature (childproofing). As soon as water
flows through the water heater, or you make a change at the user
interface, the backlight switches on automatically. The backlight
switches off automatically if no changes are made for 30seconds,
or 5seconds after water stops being drawn off.
DHW temperature
The DHW outlet temperature can be variably adjusted, with a
range from 68–140 °F (20–60 °C). The selected temperature is dis-
played.
