Installation procedure for
IMPREZA (from October 2016),
SUBARU XV(from April 2017),
FORESTER(from July 2018)
1. Cut out the pattern papers, attached
to the owner’s manual and installation
manual, along the cut line.Use each
corresponding pattern paper as follows:
IMPREZA and SUBARU XV on page 5,
and FORESTER on page 6.
2. As shown in the illustration to the
right, align the pat ter n paper with
t h e s i d e p a n e l , a n d s e c u r e w i t h
tape. T h en, m ake a mar k at each
m a r k e d l o c a t i o n w i t h a m a r k e r.

As shown in the Fig. 1, make sure to align
the lower end of the pattern paper, indi-
cated with an oval, with the lower edge of
the side panel.
3. Remove the pattern paper, and drill a
hole at each marked location. (Fig. 2)
Be sure to attach a stopper to the drill bit
to prevent it from penetrating through the
product. Set the length between the stop-
per and the drill tip at approx. 5mm.

4. Inse r t th e (2) bra cket b et ween th e
s i d e p a n e l a n d t h e f l o o r c a r p e t ,
and align the holes. Then, secure
with the (4) screws M5x20 (2 pcs.).

Check that there is no gap between the
bracket and the edge of the side panel.
Leaving a gap can cause the product to
come loose after installation.

8. Apply the (6) sealer to the upper part
of the underside of the (3) garnish.

Apply the sealer so that it does not show
from the upper part of the garnish.
9. Install the (3) garnish to the (1) back
panel. (Fig. 6)
10.H a n g t h e ( 3) g a r n i s h r i b o n t h e
back of t he sid e panel, an d align
the holes in the (1) back panel and
the (2) bracket. Then, secure with
the (5) B1 screws M5x10 (2 pc s.).

11. Align the groove on the (1) box with the
support of the (1) back panel, and press
on the (1) box to the (1) back panel.

This can result in damage to the product.
5. With the (1) box cover closed, slide the
lock button down until it clicks to unlock.

6. Open the (1) box. (Fig. 4)
7. Raise the box to remove it. (Fig. 4)
