INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase. We hope you will have a great
experience using the Sunslice Electron. The Electron was
designed and engineered in Belgium by Sunslice, with great
care and passion, and based on extensive feedback from our
users.
Our ultimate goal was to create a practical, compact and
powerful solar charger to be your trusted companion, both
during travels or in daily life. To achieve that, we equipped the
Electron with some of the best technologies available on the
market.
We hope you will be fully satisfied by your Sunslice Electron.
This manual contains important safety and product care
information, as well as step-by-step instructions for using your
Electron. To get the greatest benefit from your purchase, we
recommend you read the manual thoroughly, and keep it in a
safe place in case you need to refer to it later.

CHARGING YOUR ELECTRON
The first time you charge your Electron, we recommend you
completely charge it via wall outlet with the included cable rather
than via the sun.
The Electron can be charged quickly from a wall outlet thanks to
its fast charging input (18W).
Leave the Electron unfolded with the panels well-exposed to
sunlight. The battery will charge up automatically.

The optional universal cable with the Photon is constituted of 3
different outputs. You can therefore charge the ma jority of your
devices with this single cable.
When the solar panels of your Electron are exposed to sunlight
and start producing electricity, a little green dot will appear at
the bottom left of the screen.
Connect the Electron to your mobile device with the optional
USB cable or any other USB cable. Choose the right output as
described below. The LCD screen will turn on, and will stay on
while the device is charging.
The Electron will automatically detect if there is a possibility to
receive “fast charge” from a charger, or to activate fast charge
when charging a device (i.e. a smartphone).
When a fast charge protocol is detected and activated, a little
green “PD” icon will appear on the LCD screen, meaning “power
delivery”.
Please note not all chargers are equipped with a fast-charging
protocol. Also, not all phones are equipped with fast charging
protocols. Please double check the technical specifications
of your devices or your chargers to ensure fast charging is a
possibility. Please also note the Electron is fully automatic and
may not always choose to use a fast charging protocol, if the
conditions are not adequate.

DIRECT “SUN-TO-DEVICE” MODE
The Electron integrates an advanced power path management
feature, which allows you to charge your device while the
solar panels simultaneously produce electricity. If the solar
panels don’t produce enough instantaneous power, the battery
will provide the missing amount of power to provide a stable
charging experience.
For this feature to work properly, it’s important to follow the
following steps:

A. Close the Electron to make sure the solar panels are not
producing energy. The green solar indicator should be turned
off.

B. Connect your device and wait 5 seconds for it to start charging.
C. Open the Electron so allow the solar panels to produce energy.
The green solar indicator light should be on, and the LCD screen
numbers should NOT be blinking.

Incline your solar charger in the right direction to receive as much
sunlight as possible. It is best to place the panels perpendicular to
the Sun in order to maximize performances.
Choose a well illuminated spot, don’t shade any of the panels and
try to expose them to the same light. Placing the panels behind a
window reduces the solar performance.
Placing and carrying the Electron on a backpack is a practical
way to charge it on the move. However, the Electron charges best
when it is left static and well exposed.
Different phone models and devices (e.g. for smartphones : One
Plus, Iphone, Huawei, etc) react differently to charging depending
on their own electronic characteristics. Charging time and
performance can vary accordingly.

• Do not charge the Sunslice Electron via wall outlet and the
Sun simultaneously.
• Do not puncture, throw, drop, bend or modify your Sunslice
Electron. Do not crack the solar panels.
• The Electron is water resistant, meaning it can resist
small splashes of water or light rainfall. However, it’s always
recommended to avoid exposure to water as much as possible.
Do not leave the Sunslice Electron out in the rain. Do not expose
the Electron to fire or excessive heat.
• Don’t leave your product in the sun behind the windshield of a
car or in a place that can reach temperatures higher than 70°C.
• Do not short-circuit the battery with lead or any metal objects.
• Do not use excessive force when plugging or removing cables.
Do not twist the charging cable excessively.
• Keep the battery ports free from dust, lint, etc that may
prevent proper connections.
• Do not disassemble the charger or change its structure in any
wa y.
• Stop using the Sunslice Electron if it generates unusual smell,
heating, distortion or any other abnormality.
• Keep away from children.
