Thank you for purchasing one of our products.
The following instructions will help you to familiarize with the torch, and
are intended to assist you with any general problem or doubt. Please
read it carefully before using the torch.
The torch has up to five light functions and four main light intensities,
depending on the model:
• Functions: Boost, High, Medium, Low and Strobe (10 HZ)
• Q1 – Q1mini – Q2: High and Low
• Q3classic: On/O, no focus
• Q3 – Q3r – Q4xr – Q7defend* – Q7compact – Q7xr: All functions
available
• Q7r: Boost, High, Low, and Strobe
You can enter the dierent light functions by pressing the switch
several times, as shown below.
Turning on the torch
With the torch turned o, press the button completely down. This will
turn on the torch in Boost intensity.
Pressing the button quickly will only turn on the torch for a moment. In
order to turn it fully on, it is necessary to press the button completely
down. The “Touch function” makes possible to toggle swiftly between
light modes.
Turning off the torch
With the torch turned on in any light mode, simply press the button
down once to turn it o.
Using your torch
Pay special attention to the polarity of the batteries when placing them
in the battery pack or in the charger – only for rechargeable batteries.
Placing the batteries
Using the focus
The focus allows to expand the flood of the torch from an area of 5° to a
maximum range of 70°.
For some models, the torch head can be locked in the selected position
by rotating it. This applies to models Q4xr, Q7r, Q7defend and Q7xr.

Troubleshooting
The torch doesn’t turn on
There are several possible causes:
Check the contacts.
You may need to clean them once in a while, or make sure that there is
nothing obstructing them, such as the original protection tape.
Check the batteries
Make sure the batteries are properly placed. Follow the signs engraved
in the battery pack, they show the correct position for the batteries.
Check also that the tape has been removed
If you have a rechargeable battery, make sure it is charged.
I cannot change the focus
The focus in the torches is either by sliding or rotating the head,
depending on the model. Please follow the table shown boefre in this
manual to adjust the focus on your particular torch model.
Please make sure that the torch is clean, especially around the movable
or sliding parts. You can clean it with a damp cloth.
Warning!
Never leave the torch turned on standing on a flat surface, such as
a table or similar. The heat from the LED could damage the lens
permanently.
ON OFF
Pay special attention to the union of the tail cap. Dirt on this area could
impair the correct contact of the batteries.
