TheCO2sensorisawirelesssensorthatmeasuresthecarbon
dioxide(CO2)levelintheair.TheCO2levelismeasuredin
PartsPerMillion,PPM.IfthesensordetectsCO2abovea
presetlevel,theairhandlingunitwillstartforcedventilation.
TheCO2sensorisintendedforwallmountingeitheronthe
walloronawall-box,howeveritshouldbeplacedwhereyou
wantinstantaneousforCO2.

Optimalmeasurementrangeis400-2000PPM.
Measurementaccuracyis±40PPM+2%ofmeasurement
rangeat20°C.
Measurementwillbestablefor2minutesaftertheunitis
poweredup.
Measurementaccuracywillbeatitsmaximum10minutes
aftertheunitispoweredup.

Afterthedevicehasbeenturnedon,thegreenLEDlightsup.
After2seconds,thedevicewillgotoidlemode.
IntheidlemodethestatusLED’sareturnedoff.
WhenthebuttonispushedtheActive/User/Faultmodeis
entered.

4.3Active/User/Faultmode
IntheActive/User/FaultmodetheLED’scanshowfollowing
status:
•GreenLEDcontinuouslylit.SystemOK.
•Flashingred(fault).Thisstatusisrepeatedeveryfew
seconds.
•Whenthebuttonispushedandheldforlessthan1second,
aPartyActivemessageissenttothegateway.
Note:ItisnotpossibletodeactivatethePartyActivemode
fromthismodule.Itmustbedeactivatedontheairhandling
unitcontrolpanelorthewirelesscontrolpanelifoneis
used.
Note:Thereisno(visible)feedbackwhenthebuttonis
touched.
•Whenthebuttonispressedandheldfor10seconds,the
greenLEDstartsashingfor3seconds.
•Ifthebuttonisreleasedwithinthese3seconds,the
bindingmodeisentered.
•Ifthebuttonisnotreleasedwithinthese3seconds,the
LEDgoesoffandthegatewaywillgotoidlemode.

•Ifthebuttonisnotpressedforatleast10seconds,the
modulewillgotoidlemode.
4.4Bindingmode
IntheBindingmode,themodulecontactsthegatewayand
requestsconnection.
Bindingisonlypossiblewithin2minutesafterpower-up.
Note:
Bindingmodemustrstbeactivatedonthegateway.See
RS485GatewayUserManualformoreinformation.
IntheBindingmodetheredandgreenLED’sarealternately
litfor2seconds.
•Whenthebindingprocedureisdoneoratimeouthas
occurred,theresultofthebindingisindicatedfor2seconds
•Next,theActive/User/Faultmodeisentered.
