TheHumiditysensorrequiresanRS485Gatewaytofunction.
TheHumiditysensorisawirelesssensorthatmeasuresthe
relativehumidity(RH)level.Ifthehumiditysensordetects
humidityaboveapresetlevel,theairhandlingunitwillstart
forcedventilation.
TheHumiditysensorisintendedforwallmountingeitheron
thewalloronawall-box.Thehumiditysensorshouldbe
placedwhereyouwantinstantaneoushumiditymeasuring.

included.Expectedbatterylifetimeis2years.

•Measurementrangeis0-100%RH.
•Measurementaccuracyis3%RHfrom11-89%RH.
•Measurementaccuracyis7%RH0-10%and90-100%.
•Measurementresolutionis1%RH.

TheManMachineInterface(MMI)forthisproducthasone
capacitivebuttonandonecombined(redandgreen)LED
indicatorthatindicatesthestatusofthedevice.

4.1Power-up
Afterthedevicehasbeenturnedon,thegreenLEDlightsup.
After2seconds,thedevicewillgotoidlemode.
IntheidlemodethestatusLED’sareturnedoff.
WhenthebuttonispushedtheActive/User/Faultmodeis
entered.

4.2Active/User/Faultmode
IntheActive/User/FaultmodetheLED’scanshowfollowing
status:
•Flashingred(fault).Thisstatusisrepeatedeveryfew
seconds.
•BothredandgreenLEDcontinuouslylit.Batterylow.
•Whenthebuttonispushedandheldforlessthan1second,
aPartyActivemessageissenttothegateway.
Note:ItisnotpossibletodeactivatethePartyActivemode
fromthismodule.Itmustbedeactivatedontheairhandling
unitcontrolpanelorthewirelesscontrolpanelifoneis
used.
Note:Thereisno(visible)feedbackwhenthebuttonis
touched.
•Whenthebuttonispressedandheldfor10seconds,the
greenLEDstartsashingfor3seconds.
•Ifthebuttonisreleasedwithinthese3seconds,the
bindingmodeisentered.
•Ifthebuttonisnotreleasedwithinthese3seconds,the
LEDgoesoffandthegatewaywillgotoidlemode.

•Ifthebuttonisnotpressedforatleast10seconds,the
modulewillgotoidlemode.
4.3Bindingmode
IntheBindingmode,themodulecontactsthegatewayand
requestsconnection.
Bindingisonlypossiblewithin2minutesafterpower-up.
Note:
Bindingmodemustrstbeactivatedonthegateway.See
RS485GatewayUserManualformoreinformation.
IntheBindingmodetheredandgreenLED’sarealternately
litfor2seconds.
•Whenthebindingprocedureisdoneoratimeouthas
occurred,theresultofthebindingisindicatedfor2seconds
•Next,theActive/User/Faultmodeisentered.
