World Factory, Inc. Products for Outdoor Use
World Factory, Inc. (Seller) warrants to the original Buyer only, that each Tahoe Product will be free
from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.
SELLER’S SOLE OBLIGATION AND BUYER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY SHALL BE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS, WITHOUT CHARGE, WHICH
ARE DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. ANY PARTS AS DETERMINED BY THE SELLER
WHICH HAVE BEEN MISUSED; ABUSED OR DAMAGED EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM
REPAIRS OR ALTERATIONS ATTEMPTED BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS; IMPROPER
MAINTENANCE, NEGLECT OR ACCIDENT ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. This
warranty does not apply to damage, heat-induced coloration changes, scratching or alteration due to
normal use or weathering. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the complete
product with proof of purchase, transportation prepaid, to any World Factory, Inc. authorized service center.
Call for the location of the nearest authorized service center.
Additional Limitations
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ACCESSORY OR CONSUMABLE ITEMS RELATED
TO THIS PRODUCT. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO ONE (1) YEAR
FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF PROFITS,
ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT.
If any provision of this Limited Warranty is for any reason held to be invalid or unenforceable, such
provision shall not affect any other provision herein, this Limited Warranty shall be construed as if such
invalid and/or unenforceable provision had never been contained herein.
This warranty gives you special legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state
to state.
This Warranty contains the entire agreement between Seller and Buyer and supersedes any and all
prior agreements, arrangements, or understandings between the parties relating to product warranty.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
ONLY USE THE UNIT ON A SECURED VERTICAL POLE THAT IS FIRMLY IN PLACE.
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If
provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture,
pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least a 3 feet (a 0.9 m) from the front of the
heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and
whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
4. Always unplug heater when not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has
been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility
for examination and/or repair.
6. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations.
Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
7. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area
and where it will not be tripped over.
8. To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
9. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
10. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may
cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
11. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft
surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
12. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
13. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
14. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or
relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
15. This heater may include an audible (a visual. alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting
excessively hot. If the alarm sounds (flashes), immediately turn the heater off and inspect for
any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may cause high temperatures. DO NOT OPERATE
THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM SOUNDING (FLASHING).

Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
1. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may
use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit completely with a soft cloth.
2. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish or rough brushes to clean
the heater. This will cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
3. Although this heater is approved for outdoor use, DO NOT immerse the heater in water for
your safety.
Wait until the entire unit is completely dry before use.
If the heater will not be used for a long period of time, store it in a cool, dry location. To prevent
dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit for storage.
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair services:
1. Check the power cord is properly plugged into the electrical outlet.
2 Check to make sure electricity to the main fuse is working.
3. Make certain the power switches are turned on.
CAUTION: Do not allow water to run into the interior of the heater as this could create a fire or
electric shock hazard.
CAUTION: You must always take care that there is sufficient distance for safety
(at least 3 ft./50cm) between the apparatus and the wall or other objects or combustible materials.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: This heater is for use on
120 Volts. The cord has a plug as shown at A.
An adapter as shown at C is available for
connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs
to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding
lug extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as a
properly grounded outlet box. The adapter
should not be used if a three-slot grounded
receptacle is available.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF
THE GROUNDED PLUG.
1. Connect the plug to a 120/60Hz outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch on the unit with “•”
for 500W of heat. Only one heater panel will
activate. Press the “••” ON/OFF switch only
and two heater panels will activate producing
1000W of heat. Press the two ON/OFF switches
together to produce 1500W of heats.
NOTE: Remember, portable electric heaters are
designed for spot heating or as a supplementary
heat source. They are not intended to be the
main source of heat during the cold months of
the year.
Overheat Protection Shut-Off
If an overheat temperature is reached, the heater will automatically shut off.
It can only resume operation when the user resets the unit. Inspect and remove any objects on or
adjacent to the heater that may cause high temperature.
To Reset the Heater
1. Turn the heater off.
2. Unplug the heater.
3. After 5 - 10 minutes, plug the unit in again and operate normally.

DANGER: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of
electrocution. Check with a qualified electrician or service personnel if you are in doubt as to
whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product. If it
does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Do not use any
type of adaptor with this product

1. Make sure that all the parts are present and that there are no missing parts. Please empty the
carton thoroughtly to make sure after unpacking the unit from the box.
2. DO NOT PLUG THE UNIT IN UNTIL THE UNIT IS COMPETELY ASSEMBLED ON THE UMBRELLA AND
THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE UNIT AND POWER CORD.
NOTE: This product is intended for residential, non-commercial use.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. (SEE FIGURE 1) Remove the heater brace (B)
from the heater body (A) by sliding it downward.
2. (SEE FIGURE 2) Place the heaterbody (A) onto an
umbrella pole between 1”(25mm) - 2.4” (60mm)
diameter by inserting the pole into the slot
on the heater body (A).
3. (SEE FIGURE 3) Place the heater brace (B) back
on by sliding it upward. Secure the heater to
the umbrella pole by turning the tighting
screw (C) clockwise until the heater is secure
on the umbrella pole.
4. (SEE FIGURE 4) Using the wire loop (D) at the
end of the heater panel pull the heater panel
up until a click is heard. Repeat with the other
two panels. This means the panel is now
locked into position.
CAUTION: DO NOT FOLD THE PANELS DOWN
WITHOUT FIRST PUSHING THE LOCKING PIN IN.
5. (SEE FIGURE 4) To fold any of the panels down,
press the metal locking pin at the hinge of the
heater panel, then holding onto the wire loop (D)
at the front end of panel, fold the panel down.

NOTE: WAIT UNTIL THE HEATER PANELS HAVE ALL
COOLED OFF BEFORE FOLDING THE PANELS
DOWN. When any of the heater panels are folded
down while the unit is on, that panel will shut-off.
On back of each panel is a shut-off switch so
that only two or even one heater panel can be
used instead of all three.
