POWERING UP
• Connect your Receiver to the power, using the plug
pack provided.
• Insert a 9V Alkaline battery into your Sensor.
HOW IT WORKS
The Alert Sensor is set up on the driveway (or access way)
you want to monitor. The Alert Sensor has an adjustable
detection range from 7 to 30m (15m default), so any
moving heat source (ie person, vehicle or animal) moving
within the set coverage range will activate the Alert
Sensor. The Sensor detects moving heat sources and will
therefore not be triggered by moving trees or shrubs.
When activated, the Alert Sensor sends a signal back to
the Receiver which plays a tone to alert you.
The kit has a range of 1.6 km between the Sensor and
the Receiver.

SENSORS TO RECEIVER
Be careful not to activate your Sensor until you have
congured your Receiver and selected a tune.
Conguring your Sensor to your Receiver
1. Place your Sensor face down.
2. On the Receiver, press and hold the MODE button for
3 seconds until the lights on top ash.
3. There are 16 different tunes to select from. Press
the SOUND button until you have found a tune you
prefer.
4. Once you have found your preferred tune, wave your
hand in front of the Sensor which will congure the
two devices. A small beep will sound on the Receiver
to conrm the conguration.
5. Once congured, press and hold the MODE button
on the Receiver until the lights stop ashing.
6. To test the Kit, activate the Sensor which should
sound on your Receiver.
Conguring more than one Sensor to Receiver
Repeat the process above, selecting a different tune for
each Sensor to help you differentiate which Sensor has
been activated.

Repeat the process above for each additional Receiver or
Pager.

INSTALLING THE SENSOR
• Ensure you have already congured your Sensor
and Receiver (see page 4).
• Your Sensor needs to be secured to a post or tree.
Steel posts may interfere with the signal. Make sure
the post you x your Sensor to is sturdy.
• The Sensor should be 1-2m from the edge of your
driveway, or access way.
• Mount the Sensor at knee height (about 50cm from
the ground).
• Angle your Sensor up the driveway, it will pick up
motion within 15m (or your set range).
Installation
• Ensure the light on the Sensor is at the top.
• Secure the mounting bracket to your selected post
using the four screws included.
• Your Sensor will now slide on to the mounting bracket.

DISCONNECTING SENSORS
Removing Sensor Connections
You can reset your Receiver to remove all the Sensors that
are connected to it.
• Press and hold the Mode button until the lights ash.
• Press and hold the Mode and Sound buttons together
for ve seconds. The lights will ash quickly then turn
off. The Receiver has now disconnected all Sensors
congured to it.

Sensors
A variety of Sensors can be connected to your set up, and
each Sensor differentiated with a different alert sound.
Receivers
You can have multiple Receivers connected to your
Sensors so that you can be alerted at different points on
your property or around your home.
Additional Alerts / Volume
You can congure additional accessories for extra volume
or alert points, such as outdoor lights, sirens or bells that
can be connected to the Alert Receiver Plus.
