Your choices and supports are our great honor. Congratulations, you owned an all-round industrialized
printer with pluralistic print mediums and wide-ranging applications at the same time.
We hope loyally that you will have an omnipotent machine without any troubles. Please read this user’s guide
carefully before using the printer; especially pay attention to the part with Caution and Notice in the operation
instructions. This guide can help you using this printer correctly, so keep it carefully please. The following
contents are about using and troubleshooting of TEC TJ flatbed Digital Printer.

Choosing a Right Place to Put Printer
p Precluding place printer in somewhere temperature and humidity are changeable. Likewise, the sun
penetrating directly, strong light or heat. Strong light may influence the sensor of printer’s normally
work.
p DO NOT place printer in somewhere is apt to dust pollute, electric shock and cause vibrant.
p Keep enough space around the printer for ventilating; make sure platform of the print can move
forward& backward, upward& downward normally.
p Please put the printer on a steady and stable workbench, all directions of the workbench are needed
to cover the base of the printer.
p If the printer is put sloped or have certain angles with ground, it can’t work normally.
p Put the printer in the place close to outlet; make sure the plug is easy to be pulled out.
p Please DO NOT put printer so closely to equipments containing magnet.

Caution
Choose the Power
p Only use the power type that the relevant parameters of this guide introduce. Incorrect power voltage will
cause fire or an electric shock.
p Only use the cable attached with the printer. Use other cables to cause fire or an electric shock.
p Don’t use the cable damaged or broken. Otherwise the machine damage or casualties will happen.
p When your hand is wet, make sure not to insert or pull out cable in the outlet or the cable from it.
p DO totally insert the plug in the outlet.
p Make sure printer is well connected with standard outlet ground wire.

p DO NOT touch movable parts or stretch hands into printer when it works.
p DO NOT do maintenance by yourself without technician’ help.
p Notice that don’t spatter the liquid on the printer, especially don’t spatter on the fittings with circuit and
signal transmission.
p Make sure Interfaces are right connected when using USB cable connect printer and computer.
p DO NOT execute any operations during the self-inspection is proceeding.
p DO NOT insert or draw USB cable when printer is on.

Chapter 3. Release Printer
◇ Please check if the four angel of the flatbed is water level as the flatbed may out of position during rough
delivery, so we check first,
◇ Place the machine after removing the package. Insert the power cord as indicated in Fig.1. Please pay
attention to voltage in your own area. Make sure the ground wire is well connected to avoid the leakage of
electricity.
Please ask TEC support team to be sure your printer is 110V or 220V, it will damage printer if load wrong voltage!

◇ Please DO NOT make USB cable connected at first.
◇ Press Power Button
,
and then press Auto. Till platform is backward to stop, press Printer Ready Switch
to start printer.
◇ Self-Inspection will be executed when the machine starts, which will take about 2 minutes. Ready light is
flashing at this time. DO NOT execute any actions at this moment. On-line light will be normally on after
the start. Test machine’ condition by pressing Enter, Out, Up and Down.

Warning
p Press General Power Button before turning on printer, then press Ready button about 3 seconds later to
start main engine of printer.
p First press READY, and then press GENERAL Power Button to turn the power and printer off.
p DO NOT SEND MORE THAN ONE PRINTING JOB TO RPINTER WHEN THE FIRST JOB IS NOT
FINISHED!
p DO NOT use two different USB cable at the same time.

3.2. Install the print head to the machine.
1. Power off the machine, be sure the flatbed is free without anything leave on the flatbed.
2. Connect the print head cable to the left two port of the carriage as show as the following picture. Please pay attention to the
correct connection side!

4. Check the carriage board, be suer the D13 and D16 print head power LED light is on (With print head cable connected). If
these two light is off, please check the cable conenction and connect again)

5. Then check if the Digit code of the carriage show 0:

6. Power off the machine! Must power off!, or it will short the print head!
7. After power off the machine, then Connect the print head cable to the print head. Please pay attention to the DOWN, UP mark
on the carriage board, the DOWN cable must connect with the down side of the print head. And UP cable must connect with the
UP side of the print head. Also pay attention to the pin side of each cable. Connect the print head with carriage by two cables as
following:

8., Install the two print head transit cable as following:, DX7 print head need this transit cable, if install with DX5 will no need
this transit board, please pay attention to the mark on the transit board with UP/DOWN, conect at same port mark on carriage
board with UP/DOWN mark.
9. Connect another side with the print head as following: please pay attention to the UP/Down of the print head.
