teko Credit Card Cleaner User manual

1. Open the lid of the Teko®Credit Card Cleaner (Figure 1 A ).
2. Remove the stylus from its slot (Figure 1 B ).
3. Add three quarters of an ounce of Cleaning Solution into the measuring cup (Figure
2 Arrow). Pour a quarter of an ounce of Cleaning Solution into the stylus hole (Figure
3 A ), pour the remaining half ounce of Cleaning Solution into the width of the card
slot to help prime the system (Figure 3 B ). Allow the liquid to settle for a few seconds.
4. Replace the stylus in its slot and close the Teko®
Credit Card Cleaner lid (Figure 4 A & 5
A ).
5. Shake the Teko®Credit Card Cleaner to help evenly spread the Cleaning Solution
throughout the Teko®Credit Card Cleaner. Your Teko®Credit Card Cleaner is now
ready for use.

Filling the Teko®Credit Card Cleaner With Cleaning Solution
The Teko®Credit Card Cleaner includes a 4 ounce bottle of cleaning solution. 1/2 ounce
of cleaning solution will last approximately 3 months with average use. The actual
length of time between rells will vary depending on how often you are using it. When
your card comes out dry, it is time to add cleaning solution to the reservoir.

Credit Card Cleaner with solution, follow these steps:
NOTE: If after removing your card from the
Teko®Credit Card Cleaner it appears dry or if
the Cleaning Solution is not evenly coating
your card, add approximately 1/4 oz. more
Cleaning Solution as required until card is
evenly coated.
BEFORE OPENING THE TEKO® CREDIT
CARD CLEANER LID: If storing the Teko®
Credit Card Cleaner on its side or upside
down, we recommend you hold upright for
a few seconds to allow excess Cleaning
Solution to drain back into the Teko®Credit
Card Cleaner reservoir before closing the lid.
This helps prevent any spillage. Figure 4

purchaser of this product that the product will be free from manufactur-
ing defects in workmanship and material for a period of one (1) year from
the date of original purchase. If within one (1) year this product fails due
to defect in material or workmanship, Teko®will repair, replace or supply
any defective part at their discretion. The purchaser must contact Teko®
and provide a description of the defective part, including digital pictures
if requested, with the original purchase documentation as validation of
warranty coverage. This warranty does not cover or apply to: (a) damage
to the product due to misuse, mishandling, or abuse, (b) products not
used in accordance with instructions, (c) product not assembled or

How To Use the Teko Credit Card Cleaner:
How To Use the Teko®Credit Card Cleaner Stylus:
1. Open the latch on the side of the Teko®
Credit Card Cleaner (Figure 6 Arrow) by
lifting up on the latch.
2. Insert the credit card into the slot on
the top of the Teko®
Credit Card Cleaner
by pressing down on your card until it
comes to a stop. Then pull up to remove
card. The surface of the card will be evenly
coated with cleaning solution (Figure 7).
3. If your card was handled by someone else or slid
through a mag stripe reader, you can ip the card
over and insert the other side to ensure the entire
surface has been cleaned (Figure 7).
4. Fan your card for 2-3 seconds or until the surface
is dry.
5. Store your card away and close the lid of the
Credit Card Cleaner, being sure to rmly close the
latch.

The Teko®Credit Card Cleaner includes a stylus with
the contact point submerged in the cleaning
solution. This ensures the stylus is always available
for contact-less use at keypads and touchscreens,
allowing you to use them without touching them
with your ngers or a community stylus that is
connected to the terminal (Figure 8 Arrow).
1. Remove the stylus from the Teko®Credit Card Cleaner
(Figure 8 Arrow).
2. Use the stylus instead of your ngers to touch buttons
on elevators, keypads, touchscreens and for signatures at
digital kiosks.
3. Return the stylus to its slot in the Teko®
Credit Card
Cleaner so that it is cleaned and ready for its next use.

NOTE: If you know you have enough liquid in your Teko
®
Credit Card Cleaner but your card comes out dry, with your
Teko
®
Credit Card Cleaner closed, turn upside down to
allow cleaning solution to saturate the cleaning system
inside the Teko
®
Credit Card Cleaner, then turn right side
up, open Teko
®
Credit Card Cleaner and swipe card.

CREDIT CARD CLEANER TROUBLESHOOTING:
1. If after removing your card from the Teko®Credit Card
Cleaner it appears dry or if the Teko®Credit Card Cleaning
Solution is not evenly coating your card, add approximately
1/4 ounce more Cleaning Solution as required until card is
evenly coated.
2. On rst use, it may require more than 1/2 ounce of credit
card cleaning solution to fully saturate the Teko® Credit Card
Cleaning cartridge.
3. When opening the Teko® Credit Card Cleaner, if cleaning
solution residue comes out, close the lid, set the Teko® Credit
Card Cleaner upright for approximately 5 seconds to allow
the cleaning solution to drain back down into the Teko®
Credit Card Cleaner.
4. IMPORTANT: Allow approximately 5 seconds for your
credit card to dry before storing your credit card back into
your wallet or purse.
BEFORE OPENING THE TEKO® CREDIT CARD CLEANER LID:
It is recommended that when storing the Teko® Credit Card
Cleaner on its side or upside down, hold upright for a few
seconds to allow excess Cleaning Solution to drain back into
the Teko® Credit Card Cleaner before opening the lid. This
helps prevent any spillage.
