operatingorservicingit.
Thismanualcoversall machinevariationsandstandardaccessories.Theinstructionportionofthemanual
consistsoftheSpecification,Operation,Maintenance,andAppendixsections.Thepartsportionconsistsofthe
LowDumpModelParts;DieselParts;Multi-LevelDumpModelParts;Accessories;HydraulicComponents;

Thesmallerlineofsweeperandscrubbershaveless
complicated partsectionarrangement,andare
easiertofindyourwaythroughtheparts sections.
Thelargermachinescan havequiteavarietyof
modeltypeswhichsignificantlyincreasesthesizeto
themachinemanual.Becauseofthis,onthelarger
machinewemadethefirstpartsection,Section5,a
partsectionwhichcontainspartscommontoall type
ofthemachine.Ifthemachinehasanengine,this
sectioncontainspartsinformationonagasoline
poweredmachine.
Theremainingsectionscontainonlyparts
informationwhichisuniquetothatparticular
machinetype,suchasuniquedieselpartsonthe
machine,oruniqueSRSrparts.Knowingthe
machinemodeltypeyou haveisimportantwhen
searchingforthatpartinformationyou needfor
orderingrepairparts.Startinthatuniquesectionfirst
whenlookingforapart,thengotothefirstparts
section,Section5,ifthepartcan’tbefoundinthe

Whenadesignchangetakesplacetoamachine,
thechangesareindicatedintheparts sectionswith
machineserialnumbers.Knowtheserialnumberof
yourmachinewhichcanbefoundonthemachine
dataplatemountedonthemachine.Recordthis
numberontheinsidefrontcoverofyourmanual
alongwithyourcustomernumber.
MachinenumberusageisrecordedintheMachine
SerialNumbercolumnofthepartslistsintheparts
sectionsofthemanual.Ifthemachineserialnumber
columnlistszerosontheleftsideofthedash,then
thispartisusedonall machines;suchas(000000---
).
Ifthecolumnlistszerosontheleftofthedashanda
numberontherightofthedash,thenthepartis
usedonmachinesuptoandincludingthatmachine
serialnumber;suchas(00000---002345).
Forpartsthatareusedonmachinesbeginningat
andcontinuingonfromacertainserialnumber,the
columnwouldlistaserialnumberontheleftofthe
dashandhaveblankspacesontherightsideofthe
dash;suchas(002346--- ).Thispartwould be
usedonmachines startingwiththatmachineserial
numberandgreater.
Finally,partscanbeusedonmachineswithserial
numbersinacertainblockofnumbers.Inthis
situationthereisaserialnumberontheleftandright
sideofthedash.Thepartisthen usedonamachine
withaserialnumberstartingat thenumberonthe
leftanduptoandincludingthenumberontheright;
suchas(002346---008900).
PARTSASSEMBLIES
Apartassemblyhaspartswithintheassembly,such
asaparkingbrakeconsistingofothersmallerparts.
Whatpartsarecontainedinapartassemblycanbe
determined byanindentationarrangementinthe
descriptioncolumnofthepartslists.
Hereisanexampleofapartassembly,inthiscase

SUPPLIERCOMPONENTBREAKDOWNS
TENNANTpurchasescertaincomponentsofthe
machinefromsuppliers.Someofthesecomponents
are engines,hydraulicpumpsandmotors,electric
motors,andsolutionpumps.
Forthosepurchasedcomponentsthatare
repairable,listsofpartsforthemappearinthelater
partoftheparts sections.Thesearethesupplier
breakdowns.The enginebreakdowncontainsboth
supplierandTENNANTpartsnumbersfor repair
parts.Breakdownsforhydraulicandelectrical
componentshaveTENNANTpartnumbersforthe
partsTENNANTsupplies.Theserialnumberslisted
inanyofthepartslistsinthesesectionsisaserial
numberthemanufacturerusestoidentifydesign
changesintheirparticularcomponent.
ORDERINGREPAIRPARTS
Onceyou havelocatedapart to order,thereare
severalthingsyou needtohavetoplacetheorder.
At thebeginningofeachparts sectionisanOrdering
RepairPartspagewhichliststheinformationyouwill
needtoplaceyourorder.Reviewthislistbefore
