Quick Start Guide
1. Read instrucons for use and warnings carefully prior to use.
(Do not use prior to last 3 weeks of pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before use).
2. Check contents:
3. As soon as labour begins, aach leads to the unit:
(Do not turn ON unl pads are aached to your back)
4. Aach the electrode pads to your back as per images:
Smulaon in the higher set of pads (CH1), is stronger than the lower set of pads (CH2). This is Intenonal.
5. Ensure baeries are inserted and press the ON buon for 3-5 secs (LCD screen will be acvated).
6. Press the P buon to choose a program. Use the arrows to increase/decrease intensity as required.
The unit has the following programs:
Program A - designed to provide a pulsing sensaon that triggers the release of endorphins, relaxing you and
relieving you from pain.
There are two modes:
- A1: for use between contracons.
- A2: for use during contracons.
Use the BOOST buon to switch between the two modes at any me.
You should stay in program A as long as possible, but when your contracons intensify and become more frequent you can progress to program B
Program B - provides a smulaon paern which is set to block the heightened pain.
There are two modes:
- B1: for use when contracons intensify and become more frequent.
- B2: for use when you experience a strong contracon, it provides a constant ngling sensaon and is
triggerred by pressing the BOOST buon.
If you find programs A and B do not meet your needs for pain relief there is a third program C, which provides a higher level of pain relief.
Program C- provides a higher level of pain relief.
- C: is connuous
- C-AP (Acve Power Ramp): pressing and holding the BOOST buon will ramp the power or level of intensity
during the final contracons to give intense pain relief. Release the BOOST buon when required.
7. Once finished with the device, press OFF buon for 3-5 secs (LCD screen will be deacvated).
8. Remove baeries and put everything back into the pouch for storage. Dispose of electrode pads and leads
if they will not be used again within 2 years. Otherwise replace electrode pads onto their liners and seal them
in the re-sealable bag.
