Innan du reser tältkåtan, välj en lämplig tältplats och avlägsna eventuella föremål som kan
skada tältet.
Pitching your Nordic tipi
Before pitching your Nordic tipi, choose a suitable site and remove any objects that could
cause damage to your tent.

Use a tent peg to pin down
the mounting cross where
the centre of the Nordic
tipi is to be. Place the door
section (on the mounting
cross) in the direction where
you want the door of the
Nordic tipi to be.

Pull out the measuring tape
and put a tent peg by the
marking. Use the mounting
cross and the measuring

Spread the Nordic tipi out
and pull the ground rings
over the tent pegs. Push or
hammer the pegs all the
way into the ground.

Assemble the central pole.
Locate the cap at the top
of the Nordic tipi and put
the central pole inside it.

Raise the Nordic tipi by
pushing the central pole
upwards. Place the central
pole in the centre of the tent.
Stäng dörren och spänn

Close the door and tighten
the ground straps all the
way round. Everything
should be properly taut.

alla sidorna på flextältet
och använd stormlinorna.
Fäst med Y-spik i marken, så
långt från tältet som möjligt
för största effekt.
Punkt 8–9 gäller när tältet
används som en vanlig
tältkåta, utan att fälla upp
brättet. Om inte hela brättet
fälls upp kan snökappan och
inluftare fortfarande fästas
mot marken på resterande
partier.
Fäst snökappan mot marken
med krokspikar. Snökappan
kan fästas antingen inåt
eller utåt.
Points 8–9 apply when the
Flex is used as a regular tent,
without raising the walls. If
only parts of the walls are
raised, the snow flaps and
air intake can be fastened to
the ground on the remaining
sections.
Fasten the snow flap to
the ground using hook
pegs. The snow flap can be
attached either inwards or
outwards.
In extreme weather condi-
tions, all walls of the Flex
tent are lowered and the
storm cords are fastened
to the ground using Y-pegs.
For maximum effect, place
them as far away from the
tent as possible.
Use a short Y-peg to pull the
air intake roof outwards if
necessary. (Do not hammer
Y-pegs.)

Raise the walls on your Nordic tipi
Follow these steps to raise the walls of your Safirflex and Zirkonflex in a safe way.

From the inside, unbutton
the triangular expansion
panels from the sections
you want to raise and from
one section on either side
of the part you want to
raise. Open the zips in the
expansion panels from
the outside. If you want to
raise all walls, release all the
expansion panels.
På de sektioner som ska
fällas upp behöver mark-
sträckarna ersättas med
längre remmar. Fäst en av
de medföljande flexrem-
marna i D-ringen i huvud-
höjd på insidan av tältet.
For each section that is
going to be raised, the
ground tensioner must
be replaced with a longer
strap. Attach one of the
included flex-straps to the
D-ring at head height on
the inside of the tent.
Stick ut änden med O-ringen
under dukens kant.
Push the end with the O-ring
out under the bottom edge
of the tent.

Slacken the ground tensioner
and unhook it from the tent
stake. Hook the flex-strap
on to the stake instead. Pull
to make the tent taut again.
It is important you only do
this one ground tensioner
at a time.

Undo the ground tensioners
on each side of the part to
be raised and open the zips
in the triangular expansion
panels all the way up as
described in step 1.
Pull out the telescopic pole
to about 180 cm and push
the end of the pole through
the eyelet in the middle of
the panel’s bottom edge.
Attach a flex-strap to the
band loop, using the
carabiner.
Attach the other end of the
strap to the ground with a
stake and tighten the strap.
Repeat steps 1–7 for each
section you want to raise.
To facilitate water run-off,
attach a flex-strap to the
band loop between each
pole.
Lossa spänningen på mark-
sträckaren, haka av den
från tältspiken och haka på

Dra ut teleskopstången
till cirka 180 cm och för
stångspetsen genom öljetten
mitt på kilens nederkant.
Fäst en flexrem med karbin-
haken i bandöglan.
Fäst andra änden av
remmen i marken med en
spik och spänn remmen.
Upprepa moment 1-7 för
varje upplyft. För bättre
vattenavrinning, fäst en
flexrem i bandöglan mellan
varje stång.

The ground tensioners on
each side of the raised
section(s) may need to be
replaced with flex-straps
so they reach down to the
tent stakes.
EN
The straps used at step 2-4
may now be removed but
we recommend you leave
them in place in case of
gusts of wind. It will also
make it easier and faster to
close the brim later. When
closed, the Flex tent is as
storm-resistant as an ordi-
nary Nordic tipi.

Packa tältkåtan
Innan tältkåtan tas ner, stäng ventilmössan och inluftarna. Finns innertält eller golv
behöver detta inte kopplas loss. Se till att tältet är tomt.
Taking down and packing your Nordic tipi
Before the Nordic tipi is taken down, close the ventilator cap and air intakes. If there is an
inner tent or floor, it does not need to be removed. Make sure the tent is empty.

Take down the Nordic tipi
by releasing the tension on
all the ground tensioners
and remove the central
pole. Close the door and
remove all the pegs.

tältkåtans topp.
Spread the canvas out on
the ground like a fan by
folding it once. Push down
a tent peg through the loop
at the top of the Nordic tipi.
Runt rököppningen finns
åtta glasfiberstavar. Lägg
dem i två rader mittemot
varandra, med fyra stavar i
varje rad.
There are eight fibreglass
rods around the smoke
opening. Position them in
two rows of four.

Then fold once. When you
fold up the tent, the canvas
that forms the ventilation
cap must only be folded
once. Otherwise the rods
may cause damage.

Using a seam as an edge,
stretch the canvas out.
Fold the canvas several times,
making sure the fibreglass
rods are only folded once.

Place the folded-up central
pole in its packing bag, and
use it as a guide for the

the canvas tightly around
the central pole.

Put a strap around the
rolled-up canvas and put it in
the packing bag. Compress
the bag. Use the strap

Torkning och förvaring
Hela tältkåtan kan vid torkning eller förvaring hängas upp i öglan, som finns i toppen av
tältet.
Tältkåta, innertält och golv måste alltid få torka ordentligt innan de packas för längre tids
förvaring, annars kan fukten orsaka mögel och väven skadas.
Drying and storage
The whole Nordic tipi can be hung up by the loop at the top of the tent for drying or
storage.
The Nordic tipi, inner tent and floor must always be allowed to dry properly before being
packed away for long-term storage. Otherwise moisture can cause mildew which will
damage the fabric.
