Porch
Attach the porch’s Velcro strip to
the Nordic tipi’s accessory sleeve.
Push the Velcro strips rmly all the
way to the edges.
Extend the band* at the corner of
the porch and attach it to the Nordic
tipi’s storm cord fastenings …
… by pushing the toggle through
the hole and locking it with the
ring. Likewise on the other side.
Assemble the pole and push it
into its channel.
Extend the porch, x it to the ground and position the storm cords. Tighten straps and storm cords. Pegs and straps may need to be adjusted
so the porch ts snugly against the Nordic tipi.
Place the ends of the pole into
their respective pole pockets.
Adjust the strap.
Adjust the tent peg catch strap to the desired length and peg the porch to the ground at both ends of the
pole. Use the measuring cord to get the correct distance between the pegs.
*On size 7, the band
at the corner is only
attached to one storm
cord fastening.

The porch is not intended to resist strong winds and snow. The exceptional storm
resistance of a Tentipi® Nordic tipi is maintained by the porch being designed so
that it can easily be removed in bad weather.
Adjust the bands which connect the porch to the storm cord fastenings
on the outside.
Take off the front of the porch if you only want it
as a roof over the door.
Stretch the cord at the top, making a ridge so that rain water cannot
collect there.
Attach the strap on the inner wall of the porch to the storm cord
fastening beside the door. Do the same with the other strap.
