dable thermocouple probe. Its mea-
suring point is located in the probe
tip.

Measurements oonddeliveries oof

frozen pproducts:
Cut through adhesive tape and place
the probe between the packages.
The goods are fine if the reading is
below -18°C.
You can now stop measuring.
Measuring ddeep-ffrozen cchickens:
Take out 2 chickens, place probe
between the chickens and press the
chickens together.
The goods are fine if the reading is
below -18°C.
You can now stop measuring.
Measurements on yoghurt
cartons:
Remove yoghurt cartons from the
pallet, place probe between the
carton and press the cartons
together.
The goods are perfect if the reading
is below +7°C .
You can now stop measuring.
Generally, the following rule
applies:
The probe is placed between the
products in order not to damage the
packaging. If the reading is within the
temperature limit value printed on the
packaging, then the product is fine.
If the temperature value is right on
the limit, e.g. +7°C in yoghurt, a
“destructive” measurement is
recommended (see diagram
opposite).
