Tetra Waterfall Globe User manual

1. Replace filter cartridge (Tetra Bio-Bag
size small) every 3 to 4 weeks for
optimal fish health. Available at your
local retailer.
2. NEVER plug the waterfall globe
adapter in without water in the globe
and the filter assembled in water.

•Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into a working
electrical source. Also make sure that the AC Adapter Jack is
inserted fully into the plug on the ack of the Waterfall Glo e.
•Unplug and remove the filter holder. Grasp the ottom
of the filter and pull downward, to remove the pump.
• Remove pump cover and use Needle Nose Pliers to remove
impeller. Remove any material that may have twisted around
the impeller shaft. Reassem le the pump and place it ack
on the Glass Glo e.
•Make sure that the AC Adapter is plugged into an electrical
source. Check to make sure that the AC Adapter Jack is
inserted fully into the plug on the ack of the Waterfall Glo e.
If the filter does

Replacement Parts List
DANGER: Since water is employed in the use of aquarium equipment, special care should e taken to avoid elec-
tric shock. For each of the following situations, do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Return it to an
authorized service facility for service, or discard it.
1. A. If the appliance falls into the water, do not reach for it. First unplug it and then retrieve it.
B. If electrical components of the appliance get wet, unplug the appliance immediately.
C. Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not e plugged in if there
is water on parts not intended to get wet.
D. Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is malfunctioning, or if it has een
dropped or damaged in any manner.
E. To avoid the possi ility of water dripping onto the appliance plug or outlet,
position aquarium stand and tank to one side of a wall-mounted outlet. A
“drip loop” (see illustration) should e arranged for each cord connecting an
aquarium appliance to an outlet. The “drip loop” is the part of the cord
elow the level of the outlet (or extension cord connector) that prevents
water from traveling along the cord to the outlet. If the plug or outlet gets
wet, do not unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit reaker that supplies
power to the appliance. Then unplug the appliance and examine the outlet
for presence of water.
2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used y or near children.
3. To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts or hot parts such as heaters, reflectors, lamp ul s, etc.
4. Always unplug an appliance from an outlet when it is not in use, efore putting on or taking off its parts, and
efore cleaning it. Never yank cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
5. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should e used. A cord rated for fewer
amperes or watts than the appliance rating may overheat. Care should e taken to arrange the cord so that
it will not e tripped over or pulled.
6. Do not use an appliance for other than its intended use. The use of attachments not recommended or sold
y the appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
7. Do not install or store the appliance where it will e exposed to the weather or to temperatures elow
freezing.
8. Make sure the appliance is securely mounted on aquarium efore operating it.

1) Grasp the ottom of the
filter and pull downward, to
remove the pump.
2) Remove pump cover.

water when needed.

purchase, we will repair or replace, at our option,
any Waterfall Globe which is deemed defective
in workmanship or materials. This includes: Glass Globe,
Base with ED ight, AC Adapter, Filter Housing
and motor. If the Waterfall Globe is found to be defective, and
has not been modified, damaged or misused, please return the unit with a copy of the receipt
and proof of date of purchase:

Damage or injuries resulting from improper installation, negligence or misuse are expressly not
covered by this warranty. Incidental or consequential damages are specifically excluded.*
Fish loss, personal injury, property loss or damage resulting from use of these products are not

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.
