The instrument door is detachable.
During installation and operation, when the instrument door and internal flow path
mounting panel is rotated out, pay attention that the instrument is likely to tilt and
fall.

remain in their original positions or the IP66 rating of the enclosure will be

Note:
aste liquid shall be treated as hazardous waste.
aste tubing and de-ionized water pipe are drawn out from the underside of COD
analyzer and inserted into corresponding waste container and de-ionized water
container.
De-ionized water shall be colorless, odorless, tasteless and clear, with a resistivity
greater than 0.5 MΩ·cm. The appropriate de-ionized water may be purchased from
Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Note:
•The mounting rack or reagent cabinet should be stable and the mounting surface that
match with COD analyzer should be flat;
•The center of gravity of the mounting rack or reagent cabinet should be stable. After
COD analyzer is mounted, the instrument shall not tilt or fall even when the
instrument door and internal flow path mounting panel is rotated out!

Note:
•Need to use PTFE sealing tape around the thread of flow cell cover in order to have a
water tight seal and prevent water leakage from cover.

Note:
•The mounting position of flow cell shall be higher than the water level of sampling
cell;
•Make sure that the sampling pipe is inserted into the flow cell and under the
overflow port;
•Make sure that the filter is installed in the flow cell during operation, otherwise the
service life of the instrument may be shorten;
•The filtration shall be regularly cleaned to prevent blockage and to make sure the
water sample can enter into COD analyzer for detection;
•A ball valve is recommended to install at water inlet to control the flow rate of water
sample entering the flow cell.
