Important Safeguards
Clean the appliance of any foreign
materials before using.
Using the appliance with foreign materials
adhered to the undersides of the pan or
plate, or on the heater, heat shield plate or
heat sensor may cause abnormal heat
generation, resulting in burning of table
surfaces or a malfunction.
Remain in the vicinity of the appliance
during use.
Failure to do so may result in food catching
re.
Never turn on the appliance when the
pan or plate is not properly set in place.
Doing so may result in burns, re, or
burning of table surfaces.
Do not use for directly heating canned or
bottled foods, etc.
They can explode or become extremely hot,
possibly resulting in burns or injury.
Do not place items other than the pan or
plate on top of the heater (including
non‑accessory pans or kettles).
Doing so may result in re, electric shock or
a malfunction.
Be aware that food may boil over when
the pan lid is used while boiling water or
broth.
Failure to do so may result in electric shock,
short circuits, re, burns or malfunctions.
Be aware that steam will be released
when the lid is removed.
Doing so may result in burns.
This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
– sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and
other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by a special cord or assembly
available from the manufacturer or your
service agent.
When heating liquids such as water or
broth, stir well before applying heat.
Failure to do so may cause food to suddenly
boil over or splatter, possibly resulting in

Do not place the appliance, pan or plate
directly on a gas range or induction
cooktop.
Doing so may cause the appliance to catch
re or the pan or plate to become deformed,
possibly resulting in a malfunction.
Clean only when cool.
Failure to do so may result in burns when
contact is made with hot surfaces.
Before cleaning and maintenance, read the
corresponding instruction. (See pg. 12.)

Do not cover the ventilation holes on the
bottom of the appliance.
Doing so may result in re or a malfunction.

Do not apply excessive force to the heat
sensor or allow it to become deformed.
Doing so may cause re or a malfunction.
Do not leave cooked food or moisture in
the skillet.
Doing so may result in degradation of the
pan or plate surface, or in peeling of the
uoropolymer coating.
Appliances are not intended to be
operated by means of an external timer
or separate remote‑control system.
When either pan or lid handles become
loose, tighten the screws on the
undersides of the handles.
Continued use without tightening may cause
the handles to come o, possibly resulting
in burns or injury.
Stop use of the heat shield plate once it
looses its luster or becomes discolored.
Failure to do so may cause abnormal heat
generation, resulting in burning of table
surfaces or a malfunction.
In such cases, immediately unplug the
appliance and contact the place of
purchase.
The symbol marked on the product is
“Caution: High Temperature Surface”.
For preventing burn, please do not touch
the hot parts of the product in using or just
after using.

plastic parts, etc.

How to Use
Place either the pan, grill plate or

Confirm that the pan or plate is properly set in place.

When using the pan for anything other than soups, make sure
to lightly coat the entire surface of the pan with cooking oil.
Before cooking
Completely remove any moisture or foreign materials on the
underside of the pan or plate, as well as on the heater and heat
shield plate. Failure to do so may cause food burning or fire.

● The indicator light will turn on and off depending
on temperature control during cooking.
● Clicking sounds may be heard during use. These
sounds are caused by thermal expansion of the
heater and do not indicate a malfunction.

temperature side. Doing so may cause the pan or
plate surface to become discolored.

cooled down before attempting to carry them.
Also, do not attempt to carry the appliance with
the pan or plate still inside. Doing so may result in
burns.
● Do not attempt to remove or switch out the pan or
plate during cooking. Doing so may cause burns.
● Although the undersides of the pan, plate and lid
may become discolored due to foods, etc., during
cooking, this does not affect proper functioning of
the product.
● Do not use for deep frying foods. Doing so may
cause fire.
● Do not use the lid when cooking with the ball plate.
If the lid is used when cooking with the ball plate,
oil or water may splatter when moisture drips from
the underside of the removed lid and onto the hot
ball plate, which may result in burns. It may also
cause the plate temperature to increase, possibly
resulting in a fire.
● When using the ball plate for cooking Al ajillo (dish
fried in garlic oil) or similar dishes (food stewed in
oil), completely wipe off any moisture on the food,
place it on the plate at the same time as the oil
and cook it at . If cooked at a setting other than ,
oil or food splattering may occur, which may result
in burns.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean only after unplugging the power plug and allowing the appliance to cool.
Clean with a soft sponge or cloth.
