Safety Cautions
Before using this product, please read carefully and understand all safety instructions
thoroughly. Failure to follow these safety instructions may lead to Electrical Shock,
Explosion, and Fire, which can result in property damage, serious injury, and even death.
We strongly recommend this product NOT to be used for any application other than
for what it was designed.
Before using this product, refer to your battery manufacturer's manual to
determine the voltage and chemistry of the battery.
Do not attempt to charge a damaged or frozen battery. Incompatible or damaged
batteries can explode if the charger is improperly used.
Do not use the charger if the power cords are damaged.
Clean the battery terminal if it is dirty or corroded.
Keep it dry.
Do not smoke or use any source of electrical spark or flame during its operation to
avoid fire.
Make sure the area around the battery is well-ventilated while the battery is being
charged. To reduce the risk of battery explosion, follow all safety instructions
published by the battery manufacturer.
Wear safety goggles during its whole operation. Batteries can cause flying debris
and emit toxic gases. Remove all personal items made of metal, such as rings,
necklaces, and watches, when working with a lead-acid battery.
Place fresh water and soap nearby in case battery acid touches skin, clothing, or
eyes. If acid makes contact with eyes, then immediately wash it with running cold
water for at least ten minutes and seek medical attention as soon as possible.
Place the battery charger as far away from the battery as possible. Do not put the
charger directly above the battery.
Do not submerge the charger in water or get it wet.
Keep the charger away from children. It is not a toy.
Disconnect or connect the cables only when the charger is powered off. Store the
charger in a well-ventilated and dry place every time you finish charging.
