1.Positionthevehicleonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrakeandremovethe
keyfromtheignition.
2.Removethebatterycover.
3.Disconnectthenegativebatterycablefromthe
battery.

1.Positionthevehicleonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrakeandremovethe
keyfromtheignition.
2.Whilegraspingthehoodintheheadlightopenings,
liftuponthehoodtoreleasethelowermounting
tabsfromtheframeslots(Figure1).
3.Pivotthebottomofthehoodupwarduntilthetop
mountingtabscanbepulledfromtheframeslots
(Figure1).
4.Pivotthetopofthehoodforwardandunplugthe
wireconnectorsfromtheheadlights(Figure1).
5.Removethehood.

1.Removetheretainerssecuringtheheadlightstothe
hoodandremovetheheadlights(Figure2).
2.Insertthenewmainbeamsintothehoodopenings
andsecurewiththeretainersremoved(Figure2).
Note:Makesurethewritingonthemainbeamsis
upright.

1.Ontheinsideofthehood,locatethe(3)dotsunder
eachmainlight(Figure3).
2.Ateachlocation,drillthefollowingholes.
•Atthecenterdotposition,useaholesawtodrill
a1–3/8to1–1/2inchdiameterhole(Figure3).
•Atthetwoouterdots,drill1/4inchdiameter
holes(Figure3).

lightswiththeamberlenstotheoutside.

1.Removeoneofthetwoscrewsandnutssecuringthe
signalcontrollerhousinghalvestogether(Figure6).
Installa#6x2.5inchpanheadscrewand#6hex
nut.Repeattheprocedureontheotherscrewand
nut.Donoremovebothscrewsandnutsatthe
sametime.
