Charging your solar powered battery pack using a USB wall, USB car or USB Computer port:
Charge your battery to full capacity. Using the micro cable provided, connect the cable to the middle port
between the two USB outputs (see illustration on page 4). Connect the other end of the cable to your
computer’s USB port, a wall charger (optional) or car charger (included).
• It will take 4-6 hours to fully charge your TT-SOLAR battery pack from a wall outlet or computer.
Replenish your solar battery pack via sunlight:
To charge the battery using the solar panels, expose the face of the solar panel to sunlight (solar indicators
will begin to ash green). The time required to fully charge the battery will depend on the quality of available
sunlight – the stronger the sunlight, the faster the charge. You can also charge the solar battery through
incandescent light; however, indoor lighting only gives 1/10th the power of direct sunlight.
Solar battery replenishing time:
• 50%-100% = 6hrs
• 75%-100% = 4hrs

To check that your TT-SOLAR is fully charged, press the power button – the blue power level indicator will
light 25%-100%. If all lights are blue on the power level indicators, battery has a full charge.
• When all 4 LED lights are on = 100% battery charge
• When only 3 LED lights are on = 75% battery charge
• When only 2 LED lights are on = 50% battery charge
• When only 1 LED light is on = 25% or less battery charge

Charging your portable devices
• Using your USB charging cable that came with your phone, plug it into the USB I or USB S port (see
illustration under “Using optimized USB ports” on page 8).
• The Micro USB charging cable included in the box can also be used with your devices that use Micro USB
to charge.
• Hold the power button for 3-5 seconds until the LED light comes on.
• To shut off the device, press down the power button for 3-5 seconds until the LED light turns off.

USING THE OPTIMIZED USB PORTS
Charging your portable devices
The two ports are labeled as USB I and USB S.
USB S is optimized for charging Android, Blackberry and windows Smartphones and tablets. It will also charge
iPods and iPhones but at a slightly lower rate. An iPad will not charge from this port.
USBI is optimized for optimal charging of Apple devices including iPads. It will also charge Android and other devices.
For all other USB devices not mentioned above the best performance will be achieved using the USBS charge port.
The high powered TT-SOLAR battery pack is designed for both USB ports to be used at the same time. Either
port will provide up to 2.1 Amp to a single device. When two devices are plugged in at the same time the
output will be 1 Amp each.
