Wiring Safety for UK Use Only
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, please proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L] Green/
Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire labelled blue is the neutral and must
be connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the
letter [E].
On no account must either the brown or
the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH]
terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same
rating already fitted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician who
will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use
an ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362
of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who
will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - then cut it off of the mains
lead and immediately dispose of it in a safe
manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger
of an electric shock.

head without the micro
fibre cleaning cloth
correctly installed or
without water in the
water tank.
• DO NOT use hot water
or chemicals in the
water tank. Never put
de-scaling, aromatic,
alcoholic or detergent
products into the
steam mop, as this may
damage it or make it
unsafe for use.
• Stop using the
steam mop if water
leakage is observed
and seek advice from
the manufacturer or
its service agent or
a similarly qualified
person.
• DO NOT use the steam
mop in enclosed spaces
that are filled with
flammable, explosive or
toxic vapours or dust.
• DO NOT use on leather
or waxed polished
furniture or flooring,
synthetic fabrics, velvet
or other delicate steam
sensitive materials.
• DO NOT use on any
unsealed hard floor
surfaces. Additionally, on
surfaces that have been
treated with wax or
some no-wax floors, the
sheen may be removed
by the heat and steam
action. It is always
recommended to test
an isolated area of the
surface to be cleaned
before proceeding. We
also recommend that
you check the use and
care instructions from
the floor manufacturer.
• DO NOT use for space
heating purposes.
• If the circuit breaker
activates while using
the steam function,
discontinue use of the
appliance immediately
and contact the

Before First Use:
Read all instructions and safety information carefully before first use. Please retain this information
for future reference.
1. Remove the parts from the packaging and check for any visible signs to the unit and power
cord.
2. Retain all packaging until you have checked and counted all the parts and the contents
against the parts list
3. Assemble as instructed below.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
5. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
Assembly of your Appliance:
WARNING: Before attempting any of the following operations, ensure that the appliance is switched
off and unplugged and that the appliance is cold and contains minimal or no water.
UPRIGHT STEAM CLEANER:
Handle Assembly:
Raising the Handle
1. Raise the handle until it locks into place with an audible click.
Folding the Handle
1. Press the folding button and lower the handle down until it rests against the holder.
Attaching And Removing the Steam Head:
1. To attach the steam head slide the bottom end of the main body onto the steam head until
there is an audible click as it locks into place.
2. To remove the steam head from the main body press the steam head lock button on the main
body.
Note: The steam head rotary angle allows for cleaning in corners and at low levels.

Attaching And Removing The Carpet Glider:
1. To attach the carpet glider, press the micro-fiber cloth pad to the steam head first.
2. Place the carpet glider on the floor and push the steam head onto the carpet gilder applying
vertical pressure until it clicks into place.
3. To remove the carpet glider, place the front of your shoe onto the cloth pad removal tab and
press down firmly, until it detaches from the steam head.
Hand Held Steam Cleaner:
1. Push the lock catch, and remove the main body with the power cord from the holder.
2. Install the accessory adaptor at the top of the main body, pushing until it clicks into place.
3. Choose the appropriate accessory, align and push the accessory onto the accessory adaptor,
then turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
4. To remove the accessory, turn anti-clockwise and pull away from the accessory adaptor.
5. To remove the accessory adaptor, press the lock button on the main body and pull away from
the unit.

Microfiber Cloth Pad For general cleaning of hard
floors and refreshing carpets
(with the carpet glider
attachment).
WARNING!
• Do not use on frozen windows, as the thermal shock may cause the glass to crack or shatter.
• When cleaning fabrics, where possible it is recommended that you check the fabric label to
ensure that the fabric will withstand the temperatures generated by the steam.
• For large items or items that are not labelled use a test area that will not be visible. It is always
best to have the material hanging as this will aid with the eradication of creases on the fabric
item or clothing.
• Fabric will be hot after the steam has been applied.

Filling The Water Tank
1. Turn the water tank cap anti-clockwise to remove.
2. Use the measuring cup to fill the water tank with 300ml of water.
3. Replace the water tank cap and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
Alternatively remove the tank from the main body by pressing the water tank button to release the
tank.
1. Fill the water tank directly from a tap, taking care not to overfill it.
2. Replace the water tank cap and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
3. Push the water tank back into the main body until it clicks into place.
Using Your Appliance
Turning the Appliance On/Off:
1. Once the appliance is fully assembled and ready to use, plug it into a mains supply, ensuring it
is switched OFF.
2. Slide the power switch downwards to turn the appliance ON. The indicator light will illuminate
red to indicate that the unit is pre-heating. Once the appliance is ready to use the indicator
light will illuminate blue and steam will start being emitted.
3. Slide the power switch back upwards while the unit is in operation to turn the appliance off.
Steam Level Selection:
1. Control the steam output via the regulator. Turn the control clockwise to increase and
anticlockwise to decrease the steam output.
Note: It will take approximately 3 seconds for the steam to adjust to the level set.

Troubleshooting

Reduced steam or no
steam
Water tank may be empty. Add water to the water tank.
Steam nozzle may be blocked. Clean the steam nozzle.
There is no power to the unit. Ensure the unit is plugged in.
Steam control is set to MIN. Turn the steam control dial
clockwise.
Blown fuse or breaker. Replace the fuse or reset the
breaker in your home.
Unit will not turn on Power cord not plugged in. Plug cord into a working circuit.
Internal fuse is blown. Contact customer service.
Cleaning & Care
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to fully cool down before performing
any cleaning, maintenance or troubleshooting checks.
2. Drain the remaining water in the tank and clean the tank after every use.
3. Use detergent to clean the accessories, then rinse them and allow them to air dry. Ensure the
accessories are thoroughly dry before attempting to use them again.
4. Wipe the main body of the unit and holder/ handle with a damp cloth.
5. DO NOT use any abrasive, chemical or harsh cleaners.
6. Remove, wash and dry the microfiber cloth pad.
Limescale:
If you live in a particularly hard water area, we recommend using bottled or distilled water. Warning:
never pour vinegar or other liquid cleaners for eliminating calcium into the water tank.
WARNING! DO NOT plug the unit into the mains or turn it on while carrying out the de-scaling
process.
WARNING! DO NOT leave the unit unattended while de-scaling.
Note: De-scaling should be carried out after 25-50 uses, or approximately once a month, as
applicable.
Unblocking the Accessories and Nozzle
To clean out calcium buildup inside the steam accessories, first use a suitable lubricant to loosen the
calcium buildup inside the relevant accessory or nozzle. Once the lubricant has begun to act, run a
continuous jet of steam through the accessory or nozzle until it becomes unblocked.
Storing the Appliance:
Store the appliance in a safe, dry location out of reach of children.
