I. Route Cable Assembly through vehicle's grommet on
Driver's side next to Brake Booster into passenger
compartment above ductwork sothat asmooth curve is
made and it does not interfere with any moving parts.
2.Remove(2) M6 Bolts securingpedalassembly.Install
Bracket-Cable using (2) M6 Bolts previously
loosened.
3. Remove the Snap-In Adaptor from Cruise Control
Kit.
4. Remove the Adjustable Sleeve from the Cruise
Control Module Cable anddiscard.
5. Remove acceleratorcable from acceleratorpedal and
place Bracket- Throttle Lever on pedal. Replace
acceleratorcableon pedal, seeFigure I.

6. Open white Bushing-Cable and put it around Cable
Assembly wire rope with flanged end of Bushing-
Cable toward ball on end of wire rope. Put wire rope
through slotted hole in Bracket- Throttle Lever ,
squeezeBushing tight around wire rope and with a
clockwise twist, pressBushing-Cable into hole.

7. To usethe Snap-In Adaptor, it will benecessaryto fonn threadson the endof the Cruise Control Module Cable. This
isaccomplishedby placin.gthe1/4" -20 Nut and Washer Assembly ontheendof theCruise Control Module Cable with
your fingers, then usea7/16" box end wrench and turn clockwise, until the desiredamount of threadshave beenfonned
asshown in Figure 3. .
8. After the threadshave beenfonned threadtheSnap-In Adaptor onto the Cruise Control Module Cable. andsnapinto
the Bracket-Cable asshown in Figure I.

9. Install Snap-In-Adapter in squarehole of Bracket-Cable.
10. After everything hasbeensecured,makesurethatwhentheacceleratorpedalis in its freeundepressedstate(hot idle) that
thereis between .010" -.060" of slack betweentheball on theendof thewire rope andthe Bushing-Cable. SeeFigure
2. If adjustment is necessary, the Snap-in-Adapter canbe turned (it's threadedso that it can be adjusted) clockwise or
counterclockwise to compensate.SecureCable Assembly with Wire Ties.
II. Be surethat the throttle is not being held openby the Cruise Control Module Cable.
