TO MAKE INTERCOM / OUTGOING CALLS
To make an intercom call or an outgoing call:
Manual Mode
1. Press the [Answer] button on the headset.
2. Press Extension Number or dial External number
3. To End Call press [Answer] button on headset
Auto Mode
Press Extension number or dial External number
To End Call press SPK button on DK2-DB Phone
GENERAL OPERATION
To Adjust Speaker Volume during a Call
You can adjust the speaker volume during a call by
pressing the volume control buttons on the side of the Ear
and or the volume control keys on the DK2-DB phone
according to your preference.
Operation Range
The TransTel DK2-DB Blue Tooth Interface is a very low
power radio communication device. The radio
communication range between the DK2-DB and the
Headset is approximately 30 feet. Please keep both units
within this range for best communication performance.

EAR PIECE SETUP
Most headsets will allow you to wear the headset on your
right or left per your preference. Please consult your Blue
Tooth Headset user guide for the setup required.
MAINTAINANCE
As high temperature will shorten the battery life, please do
not leave your Headset in an environment with
temperatures over 140ºF or in direct sunlight.
Keep your Headset away from moisture.
To clean, use soft cloth with mild liquid soap to clean the
exterior of your Cordless Headset and phone. DO NOT
use abrasive chemical detergent or material to clean the
Headset.
DO not attempt to pry open the cover of your Cordless
Headset or change the batteries. Seek assistance from
an AUTHORIZED TransTel dealer near you.

INTERFACE CARD IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE BLUE
TOOTH SPECIFICATION. THIS DESIGN IS COMPATIBLE
WITH HEADSETS AVAILABLE THROUGH YOUR LOCAL
DEALER OR GENERALLY AVAILABLE AT MANY RETAIL
OUTLETS. WE RECOMMENDTHE USE OF HEADSETS
WE HAVE TESTED FOR COMPATABILITY AS LISTED
WITHIN THIS USER GUIDE. WARRANTY AND

BLUE TOOTH HEADSETS
The TransTel DK2-DB Blue Tooth interface will integrate
with several brands of headsets. TransTel has tested and
recommends the following headsets

Motorola HS820




Motorola HS810


Netcom GN6110
CONNECTION TO PHONE

No physical connection to the DK2-DB phone is required.

TO PAIR HEADSET WITH DK2-DB PHONE
Before Pairing:
Please ensure Blue Tooth Headset has required its first
maximum charge as recommended by the manufacturer.
•Hold Headset with Mic Boom closed
•Place Blue Tooth Headset into Pairing Mode by
pressing and holding down the answer key until
LED light comes on
•Open Mic Boom. LED on Headset should remain
on
•Press and hold down the DK2-DB “HOLD” key
until “Pairing” is displayed on phone screen
•Release Hold Key
•Wait until Blue Tooth Headset LED flashes rapidly
•Phone and Headset are now Paired
Note: Please ensure you only pair one Blue Tooth Device in
the area of work at any one time
TO ACTIVATE DK2 PHONE INTO HEADSET MODE
To activate the headset mode on DK2-DB phone:
•Press [SPK][775] to enable the headset mode, or
press the headset key.
To cancel the headset mode on DK2-DB phone:
•Press [SPK][775] or press the headset key to cancel
the headset mode.
TO ANSWER INCOMMING CALLS
Manual Mode
To answer incoming call:
•When DK2-DB phones rings the Blue Tooth Headset
will beep in your ear
•To answer call press the [Answer] button on the Blue
Tooth headset.
To end the conversation of a call:
•Press the [Answer] button again will end the call
•The Blue Tooth Headset will beep to indicate call
ended and will automatically put DK2-DB phone to
idle state.
Note:
•If you press [SPK] button on the DK2-DB telephone
will also end the call directly, but the Blue Tooth
Headset will be left in Auto Answer Mode”. If left in
this state the next incoming call will be answered
automatically by the Headset.
Auto Mode
Headset will be active when in this mode, please note the
battery time will be more limited when using this mode
To answer incoming call:
•When DK2-DB phone rings the Blue Tooth Headset
will beep in your ear once
•The Headset will then answer call
To end the conversation of a call:
•Press the SPK key on the DK2-DB phone
Note:
•If you press [SPK] button on the DK2-DB telephone
will also end the call directly. But the Blue Tooth
Headset will be left in Auto Answer Mode”. If left in
this state the next incoming call will be answered
automatically by the Headset.
