NEEMT!
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Tijdens het gebruik van elektrische apparatuur, dient u altijd
bepaalde algemene veiligheidsmaatregelen te treffen, waaronder
de volgende:
1. Lees vóór gebruik alle instructies
2. Raak hete oppervlakken niet aan. Gebruik hendels of knoppen.
3. Om het risico op elektrische schokken te voorkomen, dompel
de kabel, stekkers of het apparaat nooit in water of andere
vloeistoffen.
4. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat niet
wordt gebruikt en voordat het wordt schoongemaakt. Laat het
apparaat afkoelen voordat u onderdelen monteert of verwijdert.
5. Gebruik geen apparaat met een beschadigde kabel of stekker of
nadat het apparaat storingen vertoont of op enigerlei wijze

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZINGEN
OPMERKING: Wanneer u de Snackmaker voor het eerst gebruikt, pak
uw Snackmaker a.u.b. uit, open het deksel, maak de
kookoppervlaktes grondig schoon door deze met een vochtig sponsje
af te vegen en droog de oppervlaktes vervolgens met keukenrol. Voor
de beste resultaten, bereid de antiaanbaklagen van de Snackmaker
voor door met keukenrol een dun laagje slaolie of plantaardig vet toe
te passen.
LET OP: Gebruik altijd beschermende, hittebestendige
handschoenen of ovenwanten wanneer u dit product hanteert, om
brandwonden of andere verwondingen te voorkomen.
Voorbeeld Tosti’s maken
1. Voorafgaand aan gebruik, altijd voorverwarmen. Sluit de kabel aan
op een 220V AC-stopcontact terwijl u de vullingen voorbereidt.
2. Het indicatielampje zal oplichten wanneer de stekker is
aangesloten op het stopcontact; dit lampje blijft branden
tijdens het voorverwarmen en zal uitschakelen zodra het
apparaat is voorverwarmd.
LET OP: Voorafgaand aan gebruik, altijd voorverwarmen.
3. Smeer de verwarmingsplaten lichtjes in met een klein beetje
slaolie of spuitmiddel voor antiaanbaklagen, en sluit de
behuizing zodat de Snackmaker kan opwarmen.
4. Begin met voorverwarmen. Het rode lampje zal na ongeveer
3 minuten uitschakelen om aan te geven dat de Snackmaker
gereed is voor gebruik.

5. Bereid de tosti’s voor door de buitenzijden in te smeren met
boter en de sneden te vullen met de gewenste ingrediënten. Til
het veiligheidspalletje op en open de Snackmaker. Plaats de
tosti’s op de verwarmingsplaten.
OPGELET: de kookoppervlakte is heet; hanteer uiterst voorzichtig.
6. Sluit de behuizing om ervoor te zorgen dat de tosti’s gelijk
verdeeld zijn geplaatst. Sluit het veiligheidspalletje. De
gebruikelijke baktijd is 3 tot 6 minuten voor elke tosti. Het rode
lampje zal in- en uitschakelen naargelang de thermostaat de
Snackmaker op de vereiste baktemperatuur houdt.
LET OP: Het apparaat dient niet te worden gebruikt in de open
stand.
7. Haal de tosti’s van de verwarmingsplaten af met een kunststof
of houten spatel. Ben voorzichtig met uw tosti’s; de vullingen
zullen vrij heet zijn. Laat enkele minuten afkoelen voordat u
ervan geniet.
8. Koppel de voedingskabel na het bakken los en laat de
Snackmaker afkoelen.
ONDERHOUD
Dit apparaat vereist weinig onderhoud. Het bevat geen door de
gebruiker repareerbare onderdelen. Probeer het a.u.b. niet zelf te
repareren. Laat eventuele reparaties over aan gekwalificeerd
personeel.

REINIGING
Koppel deze Snackmaker altijd los van het stopcontact en wacht
totdat deze is afgekoeld voorafgaand aan reiniging.
U hoeft de Snackmaker niet uit elkaar te nemen om deze schoon te
maken. Maak droog met keukenrol om resterende olie te
absorberen. Veeg broodkruimeltjes uit de groeven en veeg af met
een vochtig doekje en een mild afwasmiddel.
Nooit in water dompelen. Gebruik geen krassend of scherp
keukengerei, om krassen op de antiaanbaklagen te voorkomen.
Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen of ovenreinigers op de
verwarmingsplaten.
Gebruik een vochtig doekje en een mild afwasmiddel om hendels
en andere onderdelen te reinigen.
Als enigerlei vulling moeilijk te verwijderen is, dan kunt u een
beetje kookolie op de plaat gieten en na 5 minuten afvegen,
wanneer de vulling is verweekt.
LET OP: NOOIT IN WATER DOMPELEN
VERWIJDERING VAN OUDE APPARATEN
Oude elektrische en elektronische apparaten bevatten vaak
nog waardevolle materialen. Ze bevatten echter ook
schadelijke stoffen die noodzakelijk waren voor hun
functionaliteit en veiligheid. Als deze bij het niet-
recyclebaar afval worden geplaatst of onjuist worden verwijderd, dan
kunnen ze schadelijk zijn voor de menselijke gezondheid en het
milieu. Zet uw apparaat daarom nooit bij het niet-recyclebaar afval.
OPMERKING
Maak gebruik van de inzamelpunten die zijn opgericht in uw stad
en recycle oude elektrische en elektronische apparaten. Neem

indien nodig voor meer informatie contact op met uw
gemeentehuis, het lokale afvalwerkingsbedrijf of uw dealer.
Zorg ervoor dat u uw oude apparaat, tot het wordt opgehaald,
veilig opbergt uit de buurt van kinderen.
GARANTIE
We bieden 24 maanden garantie op dit product. De garantie start
op de datum van aanschaf en is bedoeld voor fouten die te wijten
zijn aan de productie of het materiaal dat is gebruikt.
Uw wettelijke garantierechten in overeenstemming met § 439 ff.
BGB-E blijven hierdoor onaangetast.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade die is ontstaan als gevolg van
onjuiste behandeling of gebruik, alsmede voor storingen die
slechts een gering effect hebben op de functionaliteit of waarde
van het product. Normale slijtage, transportschade, voor zover
wij niet verantwoordelijk zijn voor deze, evenals schade die is
ontstaan door reparaties die niet zijn uitgevoerd door ons, zijn
ook uitgesloten van de garantierechten.
Dit apparaat is ontworpen voor huishoudelijk gebruik en beschikt
over de juiste prestatieniveaus.
Elk gebruik in commerciële situaties wordt alleen gedekt door de
garantie als het apparaat niet zwaarder wordt belast dan in een
huishoudelijke situatie. Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor
aanvullend commercieel gebruik.
In het geval van gegronde klachten zullen we het defecte
apparaat repareren naar eigen goeddunken of het vervangen met
een apparaat dat geen problemen vertoont.
Alle mogelijke fabricage fouten moeten worden gemeld binnen 14
dagen na levering. Alle verdere claims zijn uitgesloten.
Neem, om een garantieclaim af te dwingen, eerst contact met ons op
voordat u het apparaat terug stuurt (u dient ons altijd van een bewijs
van aanschaf te voorzien).

NOTE: When using the Snackmaker for the first time, after unpacking
your Snackmaker, open the lid, clean the cooking surfaces thoroughly
by whipping with a damp sponge and dry the surfaces with a paper

towel. For best results, prepare the non-stick surfaces by using a
paper towel to wipe a thin layer of vegetable shortening or oil onto
the non-stick surfaces of the Snackmaker.
CAUTION: Always use protective, heat-resistant, gloves or mitts
when handing this product to avoid steam or other burns.
Example: how to make sandwiches
1. Always preheat before use. Plug the cord into a rating 220-volt
AC power outlet while preparing the fillings.
2. The indicator light will illuminate when the plug is connected to
the main outlet; it will stay on during preheating, the indicator
light shut off when the appliance has preheated.
CAUTION: Always preheat before use.
3. Lightly glaze both heating plates with a small amount of
vegetable oil or a non-stick spray, and close the casing for the
Snackmaker to heat up.
4. Begin heating. After about 3 minutes, the red light will turn off,
indicating that the Snackmaker is ready for use.
5. Prepare sandwiches by buttering bread on outer surfaces and
placing desired ingredients within. Lift safety catch and open the
Snackmaker. Place sandwiches on the heating plates.
CAUTION: cooking surface is hot; handle with care.
6. Close the casing to ensure that the sandwich is placed evenly.
Lock the safety catch. Normal cooking times will be 3 to 6
minutes for each sandwich. The red light will turn on and off, as
the thermostat keeps the Snackmaker at the proper baking
temperature.
CAUTION: The appliance is not to be operated in the open position.
7. Remove the sandwiches from the heating plates with a plastic or
wooden spatula. Be careful with your sandwiches, the fillings will
be quite hot. Allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying.

8. Unplug the power supply cord after cooking, and allow the
Snackmaker to cool down.
MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified
personnel if servicing needed.
CLEANING
Always unplug this Snackmaker from the power source and wait
until it cools down before cleaning.
There is no need to take your Snackmaker apart for cleaning. Dry
with a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Brush crumbs from the
grooves, and wipe with damp cloth and mild soap.
Never immerse in water. Avoid using scratching or sharp utensils,
as they will scratch the non-stick surface.
Do not use cleansers or oven cleaners on the heating plates.
To clean handles and other parts, use a damp cloth with mild soap.
Should any filling be difficult to remove, pour a little cooking oil
onto the plate and wipe off after 5 minutes, when the filling has
softened.
CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER

DISPOSAL OF THE OLD DEVICE
Old electric and electronic devices frequently still contain
valuable materials. However, they also contain damaging
substances, which were necessary for their functionality and
safety. If these were put in the non-recyclable waste or were handled
incorrectly,
they could be detrimental to human health and the environment.
Therefore, do not put your old device into the non-recyclable waste
under any circumstances.

contact your town hall, local refuse collection service or your
dealer for information.
Ensure that your old device is stored safely away from children
until it is taken away.

We provide a 24 month guarantee for this product, commencing
from the date of sale, for faults
which are attributable to production or material faults.
Your legal guarantee entitlements in accordance with § 439 ff.
BGB-E remain unaffected by this.
The guarantee does not include damages, which were incurred as
a result of improper handling or use, as well as malfunctions
which only have a minor effect on the function or the value of the
device. Consumables, transit damages, inasmuch as we are not
responsible for these, as well as damages, which were incurred as
a result of any repairs that were not performed by us, are also
excluded from the guarantee entitlements.
This device is designed for use in domestic situations and has the
appropriate performance levels.

Any use in commercial situations is only covered under the
guarantee to the extent that it would be comparable with the
stresses of being used in a domestic situation. It is not intended
for any additional, commercial use.
In the event of justified complaints, we will repair the faulty
device at our discretion or replace it with a trouble-free device.
Any pending faults must be reported within 14 days of delivery. All
further claims are excluded.
To enforce a guarantee claim, please contact us prior to returning
