Prime verwenden. Sie enthalten wichtige Hinweise zur Benutzung, Sicherheit
und Entsorgung des Gerätes.

2. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der TREKSTOR i.Gear SSD-Stick Prime ist ein SSD-Speichergerät mit einer
USB-A 3.1 Gen 1- Schnittstelle, das ür die Archivierung von digitalen Daten aller
Art (z. B. Dokumente, Bild-, Audio- und Videodateien) verwendet werden kann.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät immer nur ür den vorgesehenen Zweck. Andernfalls
können Fehlfunktionen auftreten. Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört
auch die Einhaltung aller Angaben in der technischen Dokumentation. Der Hersteller
haftet nicht ür Schäden, die sich aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung oder
Veränderungen am Gerät ergeben.
Weiter ist der Hersteller nicht ür Beschädigungen oder den Verlust von Daten
und den sich daraus ergebenden Folgeschäden verantwortlich.
Der Hersteller behält sich das Recht vor, das Produkt ständig weiterzuentwickeln.
Änderungen können ohne direkte Beschreibung im Benutzerhandbuch
vorgenommen werden. Informationen im Benutzerhandbuch müssen somit

ACHTUNG
Um möglichen Fehlfunktionen und/oder Geräteschäden durch
Umwelteinflüsse vorzubeugen, beachten Sie:
■Sollten Sie das Gerät einer elektrostatischen Entladung aussetzen, kann es
zu einer Unterbrechung des Datentransfers zwischen dem Gerät und dem
Computer kommen bzw. Funktionen des Gerätes können gestört werden.
Ziehen Sie in diesem Fall das Gerät vom USB-Port ab und stecken Sie es
erneut ein.
■Es beinden sich keine zu wartenden oder zu reinigenden Teile innerhalb
des Gerätes.*
■Die empfohlene Luftfeuchtigkeit ür den Betrieb und die Aubewahrung
des Gerätes liegt zwischen 30 und 70 Prozent.

Aubewahrung des Gerätes liegt zwischen 5° C bis 30° C. Temperaturen
außerhalb dieses Bereiches können Geräteschäden bewirken.
■Schützen Sie das Gerät vor schnellen Temperaturschwankungen.
Kondensation von Luftfeuchtigkeit kann zu Schäden am Gerät bis hin zur
Gefahr ür den Nutzer ühren.
■Vermeiden Sie stets Regen, Tropf- oder Spritzwasser.
■Verwenden Sie das Gerät in einer möglichst staubfreien Umgebung.

8. SSD-Stick mit dem Computer verbinden
Der SSD-Stick kann direkt oder über das mitgelieferte USB A-A Verlängerungskabel
mit dem PC verbunden werden. Das Verlängerungskabel wird verwendet, wenn der
SSD-Stick aus Platzgründen nicht direkt mit dem Computer verbunden werden kann.
a) Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe vom SSD-Stick ab.
b) Optional: Verbinden Sie den SSD-Stick mit dem komplementären Ende
des Verlängerungskabels.
c) Verbinden Sie den SSD-Stick bzw. das Verlängerungskabel mit einem
kompatiblen USB-Anschluss an Ihrem Computer.
Die LED leuchtet, der SSD-Stick wird von Ihrem Computer erkannt und in der
Datenträgerverwaltung angezeigt.
iHINWEIS
Verwenden Sie die Funktion "Hardware sicher entfernen" um den SSD-Stick
sachgemäß vom Computer zu trennen.

instructions and the enclosed Quick Guide are direct components of the product.
Please read these documents carefully before you use your i.Gear SSD-Stick
Prime. They contain important information about device safety, usage and
disposal.

In order to be able to work with maximum eficiency and safety, as well as to
protect the device from possible dangers, please familiarize yourself with all
operating and safety instructions.
2. Intended use
The TREKSTOR i.Gear SSD-Stick Prime is a lash memory device with a
USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface that can be used for archiving digital data of all kinds
(e.g. documents, images, audio and video iles).
Never use the device for anything other than its intended purpose. Malfunctions
may otherwise occur. Intended use includes observing all instructions contained
in the technical documentation. The manufacturer is not liable for damages
resulting from improper use or modiication of the device.
Furthermore, the manufacturer shall not be held liable for damage or for loss of
data or any subsequent damage caused as a result.
The manufacturer shall reserve the right to constantly further develop the
product. Changes may be made without any direct reference to them in the
user’s manual. As a result, the information contained in the user’s manual does
not need to relect the current technical design. Unauthorized modiications to
the device will invalidate the warranty.

8. Connect the SSD stick to the computer
The SSD stick can be connected to the computer directly or using the USB A-A
extension cable included. The extension cable is used if the SSD stick cannot be
connected to the computer directly for space reasons.
a) Remove the protective cap from the SSD stick.
b) Optional: Connect the SSD stick to the complementary end of the
extension cable.
c) Connect the SSD stick or the extension cable to a compatible USB port on
your computer.
The LED lights up, the SSD stick is recognised by your computer and displayed in
disk management.
iADVICE
Use the function “Safely Remove Hardware” in order to remove the SSD stick
from the computer in a proper fashion.

8. Collegare la chiavetta SSD al computer
La chiavetta SSD può essere collegata al PC direttamente o tramite la prolunga
USB A-A fornita. La prolunga si utilizza nel caso in cui, per motivi di spazio, la
penna SSD non possa essere collegata direttamente al computer.
a) Rimuovere il cappuccio dalla chiavetta SSD.
b) Facoltativamente: collegare la chiavetta SSD all’estremità complementare
della prolunga.
c) Collegare la chiavetta SSD o il cavo di collegamento all’ingresso USB
compatibile del computer.
Il LED si illumina, la chiavetta SSD viene riconosciuta dal computer e visualizzata
nella gestione di dispositivi e unità.

Utilizzare la funzione “Rimozione sicura dell’hardware” per staccare la penna
SSD dal computer in modo adeguato.
