Basic Model Operation:
KAP-100: Manual Locking model. Push Paddle to exit. To close
door, use “PULL HERE” handle then pull exit paddle toward you in
order to throw bolts.
KAP-110: Manual Locking model with integrated Battery Alarm:
Alarm is active unless silenced by key. Door operates same as
KAP-100 model.
KAP-120: Manual Locking model with integrated Direct Power
Alarm. Alarm is active unless silenced by key. Door operates same
as KAP-100 model.
KAP-200: Self-Locking model: Requires door closer. Door locks
once trigger hits strike on frame.
KAP-210:Self-Locking model with integrated Battery Alarm: Alarm
is active unless silenced by key. Door operates same as KAP-200
Model
KAP-220:Self-Locking model with integrated Direct Power Alarm:
Alarm is active unless silenced by key. Door operates same as
KAP-200 Model
KAP-IAL: Self Locking or Manual Locking Active door. KAP-482
(3-Point dead-bolting with interior key control) Inactive leaf. Doors
can be integrated with Battery or Direct Power Alarms. Active door
operation is identical to models listed above.

Basic Alarm Operation:
KAP-110/120/210/220: Alarm is active unless
deactivated by key. NOTE: Key is captive in alarm while
silenced, you cannot remove the key.
To Silence Alarm: Insert key and turn CW until it stops
(3 o’clock). Close door. Turn the key CCW (12 o’clock)
and remove.
To Silence Alarm For Extended Period: Follow
instructions from above. NOTE: Key is captive in alarm
while silenced, you cannot remove.
To Relock and Reset Alarm:
1. Close door, project bolts:
-Manual Locking: pull paddle toward you
-Self Locking: automatic locking
2. Insert key and turn CW until it stops (3 o’clock). Close
door. Turn the key CCW (12 o’clock) and remove.

Counter: To reset the counter (to 0000) or to change the battery
Required Tool: Screwdriver with T-25 pin-in-head bit
1. Remove the two pin-in-head torx screws with a T-25 pin-in-head screw driver. The screws are on
the side (if on the channel) or from the face (if on the lock body).
2. Press the display with your finger slightly to push the counter back from the housing.
3. Remove the battery and wait 10 seconds (you may count from 1-10 or 10-1) Reinstall the battery.
The counter should reset to "0000".
4. Press the back of the counter to fit it back into the housing.
5. Re-install the counter on the channel and fasten it with the two screws.
