Mini Transmitter Unit
1Wireless Indicator: LED will illuminate red when an HDMI signal is
obtained and will blink when data is transmitting
2Micro-B USB Port: Use the included USB cable to connect the Mini
Transmitter Unit to a powered device
3Power Indicator: LED will illuminate blue when power is being
received
4IR-Out (Tx) Port: Use the included IR-Out (Tx) cable to connect to
this port for remote control of the source device
Note: Make sure the source remote control is within the required range of IR

Installation
Notes:
•Make sure all equipment being connected is powered off prior to installation.
•Make sure to position the IR cables near the source device and HDMI display for
best results.
•If the wireless signal is obstructed by walls (especially brick or glass) or other
sources of interference, the quality and distance of the signal will likely be re-
duced.

1Connect the built-in HDMI connector on the Mini Transmitter Unit to
the HDMI source device.
Note: If experiencing a weak signal or signal loss, use the Right-Angle HDMI
Adapter to connect the Mini Transmitter Unit to the HDMI source device. The
Right-Angle HDMI Adapter will put the Mini Transmitter Unit in a vertical position
to strengthen the signal.

Installation
2Connect the IR-OUT (Tx) cable to the IR-OUT port on the Mini
Transmitter Unit.
Note: IR-OUT (Tx) cable has “IR-OUT” marked on the bottom of the IR bulb.
Place the bulb of the IR-OUT (Tx) cable in an area with a direct line of sight to
the HDMI source device.
3To power the unit, connect the included USB Micro-B cable between
the transmitter and a USB wall charger or a USB port on the source.
Receiver Unit
4Optional: Attach the included mounting hardware to the receiver unit
and mount it to a desired location.
5Attach the included antenna blade to the antenna port on the
receiver unit.
6Connect the HDMI display to the HDMI Output port on the receiver
unit using a P568-Series High-Speed HDMI Cable (sold separately).
7Connect the IR-IN (Rx) cable to the IR-IN port on the receiver unit.
Note: IR receiver cable has IR-IN marked on the bottom of the IR bulb. Place
the bulb of the IR receiver cable in the general area you will be using the
source device’s remote control.
8Connect the external power supply to the receiver unit, and plug it
into a Tripp Lite Surge Protector, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
or Power Distribution Unit (PDU).
9Turn on power to the connected equipment.

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to get an acceptable image after following the
installation instructions, try the following troubleshooting tips:
1. Is the included external power supply connected and plugged
into a working power source? For the product to function properly,
the receiver must be connected to and receiving power from an
external power supply.
2. Is the included USB cable connected between the USB Micro-B
port on the mini transmitter unit and a power source? The USB
Micro-B port on the mini transmitter unit must be connected to a USB
port on the source device or on a USB wall charger in order to power
the unit.
3. Was the power to the HDMI source turned off prior to
installation? If not, restart.
4. What resolution are you trying to reach? See the Product
Features and Installation sections in this manual for details on
maximum distance and resolution. If you are not able to get an
acceptable image, try lowering the source device’s video resolution or
adjusting the refresh rate.
5. Is your mini transmitter unit and receiver unit not connecting to
one other? If the wireless connection LED indicators are not blinking
correctly, restart either the mini transmitter or receiver unit, then
reconnect the HDMI connector or cable. Also, make sure the mini
transmitter and receiver units have a direct line of site to one other. If
the line of sight between them is blocked by windows or walls, or there
is no direct line of sight, the mini transmitter and receiver units will not
be able to establish a connection.

Troubleshooting
6. Is the Wi-Fi indicator on the receiver unit off and there is no
output signal on the display? If so, check that the HDMI signal
connection on the mini transmitter unit is illuminating solid. If the
signal is not solid, connect the source device directly to the display
device to see if the issue is with the source, display or HDMI cable you
are using.
7. Is the HDMI display transmitting a choppy picture? If so, make
sure the position of the mini transmitter and receiver units are in
the required range, then restart the units and reconnect the HDMI
connector and cable. If this does not work, check for other signal
disturbances between the transmitter and receiver.
8. Is the Mini Transmitter Unit experiencing signal loss or a weak
signal? If so, make sure to connect the included Right-Angle HDMI
Adapter between the HDMI source device and the Mini Transmitter
Unit. The Right-Angle HDMI Adapter will put the Mini Transmitter Unit in
a vertical position to strengthen the signal.
9. Test your cables to ensure they are working properly.
10. Are the mini transmitter and/or receiver units located in an area
that exposes them to elevated temperatures? If the product is
overheating, it will not function properly.

Warranty and Product Registration
1 Year Limited Warranty
Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of one (1) year from the date of initial purchase. Tripp Lite’s obligation under this warranty is
limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service
under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from
Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center. Products must be returned to Tripp Lite or an
authorized Tripp Lite service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied
by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This
warranty does not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or
misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, Tripp Lite MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Notas:

1Conecte el conector HDMI incorporado en la Mini Unidad Transmisora
al dispositivo fuente HDMI.
Nota: Si experimenta una señal débil o pérdida de la señal, utilice el Adaptador
HDMI en Ángulo Recto para conectar la Unidad Mini Transmisora al dispositivo
fuente de HDMI. El Adaptador de HDMI en Ángulo Recto pondrá la Unidad Mini
Transmisora en posición vertical para reforzar la señal.

Instalación
2Conecte el cable IR-Out (Tx) al puerto IR-Out en la Mini Unidad
Transmisora.
Nota: El cable IR-Out (Tx) tiene “IR-Out” marcado en la parte inferior del foco
IR. Coloque el foco del cable IR-Out (Tx) en un área con una línea de vista
directa al dispositivo fuente HDMI.
3Para alimentar la unidad, conecte el cable USB Micro-B entre el
transmisor y un cargador USB de pared o un puerto USB en la
fuente.

4Opcional: Coloque los accesorios para instalación incluidos en la
unidad receptora e instálela en una ubicación deseada.
5Coloque la antena incluida en el puerto para la antena en la unidad
receptora.
6Conecte la pantalla HDMI al puerto de salida HDMI en la unidad
receptora mediante un Cable HDMI de alta velocidad serie P568 (se
vende por separado).
7Conecte el cable IR-In (Rx) al puerto IR-In en la unidad receptora.
Nota: El cable del receptor IR tiene “IR-IN” marcado en la parte inferior del
foco IR. Coloque el foco del receptor IR del cable en la zona general que va a
utilizar el control remoto del dispositivo fuente.
8Conecte la fuente de alimentación externa a la unidad receptora y
enchúfela en un Supresor de Sobretensiones, Unidad de Distribución
de Energía (PDU) o Sistema de Respaldo Ininterrumpible (UPS) de
Tripp Lite.
9Encienda el equipo conectado.

Solución de Problemas
Si no logra obtener una imagen aceptable después de seguir las
instrucciones de instalación, pruebe los siguientes consejos para solución
de problemas:
1. ¿Está conectada la fuente de alimentación externa y enchufada
a una fuente de alimentación que funciona? Para que el producto
funcione correctamente, el receptor debe conectarse y recibir
alimentación desde una fuente externa.
2. ¿Está el cable USB conectado entre el puerto USB Micro-B en la
mini unidad transmisora y una fuente de energía? El puerto USB
Micro-B en la mini unidad transmisora debe conectarse a un puerto
USB en el dispositivo fuente o a un cargador de pared USB para
alimentar a la unidad.
3. ¿Se apagó la fuente de HDMI antes de la instalación? Si no,
reiníciela
4. ¿Qué resolución está intentando alcanzar? Ver las secciones de
Características del Productos e Instalación en este manual para más
detalles sobre la resolución y la distancia máximas. Si no logra
obtener una imagen aceptable, intente bajar la resolución de video el
dispositivo fuente o ajustar la frecuencia de actualización.
5. ¿No están conectadas entre sí su mini unidad transmisora y su
unidad receptora? Si los indicadores LED de conexión inalámbrica
no destellan correctamente, reinicie la mini unidad transmisora o
unidad receptora, luego vuelva a conectar el conector o el cable HDMI.
También, asegúrese de que las mini unidades transmisora y receptora
tienen una línea directa de vista entre sí. Si la línea de vista entre ellas
es bloqueada por ventanas o paredes o no hay línea de vista directa,
las mini unidades transmisora y el receptora no será capaces de
establecer una conexión.
