1.1 Dokumentennummer

1.2 Gültigkeit
Diese Anleitung gilt für das Truma iNet X Panel und
das Truma iNet X Pro Panel, nachfolgend Bedienteil
genannt�
1.3 Zielgruppe
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Fachkräfte�
Nur fachkundige und geschulte Personen (Fachkräfte)
dürfen unter Beachtung der Einbau- und Gebrauchs-
anleitung und der aktuellen, anerkannten Regeln der
Technik das Truma Produkt einbauen, reparieren und
die Funktionsprüfung durchführen� Fachkräfte sind Per-
sonen, die auf Grund ihrer fachlichen Ausbildung und
Schulungen, ihrer Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit den
Truma Produkten und den einschlägigen Normen die
notwendigen Arbeiten ordnungsgemäß durchführen
und mögliche Gefahren erkennen können�

2 Sicherheitshinweise für die
Fachkraft
Die nachfolgenden Sicherheitshinweise weisen auf be-
sondere Gefahren bei der Installation und Reparatur von
den, in dieser Anleitung beschriebenen Truma Produk-
ten hin�
2.1 Umgang mit Elektrizität
Arbeiten an der elektrischen Anlage dürfen nur Elektro-
fachkräfte ausführen�
Landesspezifische und spannungsabhängige Regu-
larien und Vorschriften beachten�
Fahrzeuggegebenheiten berücksichtigen�
Notwendigen Arbeitsschutz sicherstellen und per-
sönliche Schutzausrüstung tragen�
2.2 Batteriespannung 12V
Teile der Geräte werden über das Bordnetz von
12VBatterien versorgt� Bei hohen elektrischen Be-
lastungen oder einem Kurzschluss können in den Zulei-
tungen sehr hohe Ströme fließen, die die Kabel erhitzen
und zu Kabelbrand führen können�
Angaben der Einbauanleitung befolgen� Insbesonde-
re Angaben zu Kabelquerschnitten, Sicherungen und
Isolationen�
2.3 Gerätesicherheit
Am Gerät sind evtl� Hinweise angebracht�
Die direkt am Gerät angebrachten Hinweise
beachten�
Die angebrachten Hinweise in vollständig lesbarem
Zustand erhalten und nicht verdecken�
Am Gerät sind evtl� Schutzeinrichtungen angebracht�
Verletzungsgefahr bei fehlenden oder fehlerhaften
Schutzvorrichtungen�
Nach der Installation darauf achten, dass sämtliche
Schutzvorrichtungen (Abdeckungen, Sicherheitshin-
weise, Erdungskabel, etc�) vorhanden sind�
Fehlerhafte und unbrauchbar gewordene Schutzvor-
richtungen ersetzen�
2.4 Originale Ersatzteile
Die Verwendung von Teilen (Zusatzkomponenten, Er-
satz- und Verschleißteilen) außerhalb der Spezifikation
des Herstellers, können die Funktion und die Sicherheit
des Gerätes beeinträchtigen, das Fahrzeug beschä-
digen und die Gewährleistung und Herstellerhaftung
einschränken�
Nur originale Komponenten, Ersatz- und Verschleiß-
teile der TrumaGerätetechnikGmbH&Co�KG
verwenden�

Der Lieferumfang bei Großverpackungen kann von der
nachfolgenden Auflistung der Einzelverpackung abwei-
chend sein�
1 x Truma iNet Panel oder Truma iNet X Panel
1 x Anschlusskabel iNet X 0,5 m
1 x Sicherungshalter mit 1 A Sicherung
1 x Anschlusskabel TIN-Bus
1 x Gebrauchsanleitung
1 x Einbauanleitung
4 Einbau
Das Bedienteil wird über ein Anschlusskabel mit Span-
nung versorgt� Über verschiedene Schnittstellen können
Truma Geräte und Zubehör gesteuert werden� Je nach
Produktvariante können weitere Geräte von Drittherstel-
lern angeschlossen und gesteuert werden�
4.1 Einbauort festlegen
• Das Bedienteil ist für die Wandmontage auf ebenem
Untergrund geeignet�
Die Wandstärke kann 7 – 15mm betragen�
• Das Bedienteil an einer vor Feuchtigkeit und Nässe
geschützten Stelle einbauen�
• Für eine optimale Lesbarkeit der Zeichen, das Be-
dienteil auf Augenhöhe oder höher montieren�
• Kabelführung berücksichtigen (Spannungsversor-
gung zum Bedienteil, Steuerkabel zu den Geräten)�
Geeigneten Platz für das Bedienteil an gut sichtbarer
Stelle festlegen�

4.3 Elektrischer Anschluss
Das Bedienteil und die Geräte, die mit diesem Bedienteil
gesteuert werden sollen, müssen am selben 12 V-Strom-
kreis angeschlossen sein�
Die Plusleitung muss mit einer 1 A Sicherung (in der
Nähe des Pluspols der Spannungsquelle) abgesichert
werden�
Alle Kabel zum Bedienteil von hinten durch die Ein-
bauöffnung führen und am Bedienteil anstecken�
Kabel zugfrei in Schleifen verlegen�
Das Bedienteil muss sich ca� 20 cm aus der Einbau-
öffnung herausziehen lassen� Dabei dürfen die Steck-
verbindungen nicht durch Zug belastet werden� Nicht
an den Kabeln ziehen, wenn diese am Bedienteil ange-
steckt sind�
Steuerkabel zu den anzuschließenden Geräten füh-
ren (Heizung-, Klimaanlage, Zubehörteil, usw�) und
am Bedienteil (TS1, TS2, CAN, CI, TIN) anstecken�
Mithilfe eines TIN-Verteilers* (Art�-Nr� 36120-01) kön-
nen an den TIN-Anschluss des Bedienteils mehrere
TIN-fähige Geräte angeschlossen werden�

Offenes Ende des Anschlusskabels iNet X im Fahr-
zeug mit ungeschalteter 12V Betriebsspannung
(Dauerplus) verbinden�
Anschlusskabel iNet X an das Bedienteil anstecken�
Zur Zugentlastung alle Kabel mit einem Kabelbinder
an der Lasche (Abb� 2-1) auf der Rückseite des Be-
dienteils befestigen�

4.3.1 Temperaturfühler anschließen
Wird ein Raumtemperaturfühler verwendet, muss die-
ser am TS1-Anschluss angesteckt werden�
Wird ein Außentemperaturfühler verwendet, muss die-
ser am TS2-Anschluss angesteckt werden�
Falls andere Temperatursensoren angeschlossen
werden sollen, wird das in der entsprechenden An-
leitung des Produkts beschrieben� Ein Temperatur-
fühler, der am Bedienteil angesteckt ist, kann für die
Temperaturregelung der Combi (ab Baujahr2019)
verwendet werden� Der Raumtemperaturfühler
der Combi kann an der Combi verbleiben, er wird

allerdings vom Bedienteil bei der Temperatur-
regelung nicht berücksichtigt (Abb� 3)�

4.4 Bedienteil einsetzen
Montagekralle (Abb� 4-1) auf der Rückseite des
Bedienteils einklappen, so dass diese horizontal im
Gehäuse über dem Sichtfenster (Abb� 4-2) sitzt�

Die Klemmschieber (Abb� 5-1) rechts und links am
Bedienteil gegen die Federn (Abb� 5-2) schieben,
bis die Klemmschieber am Gehäuse (Abb� 5-3)
einrasten�

Mit einem Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendreher (Abb� 7-1)
die Befestigungsschraube im Uhrzeigersinn drehen
bis die Montagekralle vollständig nach unten ge-
schwenkt ist� Die Montagekralle ist dann im Sicht-
fenster (Abb� 7-2) nicht mehr zu sehen�
Befestigungsschraube handfest anziehen (maxima-
les Drehmoment 0,4Nm)� Damit wird das Bedienteil
im Einbaurahmen festgeklemmt�

5 Erstinbetriebnahme
Spannungsversorgung aller angeschlossenen Geräte
wie z�B� Heizung oder Klimaanlage einschalten�
Nach dem Einschalten der Spannungsversorgung wird
nach wenigen Sekunden am Bedienteil der Einrichtungs-
assistent angezeigt�
Der Einrichtungsassistent erkennt die angeschlossenen
Geräte selbstständig und führt den Benutzer durch die
Inbetriebnahme� Hier können unter anderem die Spra-
che ausgewählt und je nach Konfiguration weitere Ein-
stellungen vorgenommen werden�
Bei Neuanschluss oder Austausch eines Geräts, wie
z�B� Heizung oder Klimaanlage an das Bus-System,
muss die Gerätesuche manuell in den Einstellungen
durchgeführt werden�
6 Abschließende Arbeiten
6.1 Funktionsprüfung
Sämtliche Funktionen des Bedienteils und der an-
geschlossenen Geräte gemäß Gebrauchsanleitung
überprüfen�
6.2 Dokumente
Gebrauchsanleitung dem Benutzer bzw� Fahrzeug-
halter aushändigen�

7 Batteriewechsel
Auf der Rückseite des Bedienteils ist eine Puffer-Batte-
rie verbaut (Abb� 9)� Die Batterie ist auf eine Betriebszeit
von ca� 8 Jahren ausgelegt�
Batterietyp: Batterie CR 2032
Tastenplatte vom Rahmen des Bedienteils
abnehmen�
Befestigungsschraube aufschrauben�
Bedienteil aus dem Einbauraum herausnehmen,
dabei auf die angeschlossenen Kabel achten�
Mit einem spitzen Gegenstand (z�B� kleiner Schrau-
bendreher) die alte Batterie aus dem Batteriehalter
herausschieben�
Neue Batterie in den Batteriehalter einschieben�
Dabei auf die Polung achten: Pluspol zeigt nach
vorne bzw� oben� Siehe (Abb� 9)�
Bedienteil, wie in dieser Einbauanleitung beschrie-
ben, wieder einsetzen�

Es ist verboten, gebrauchte Batterien über
den Hausmüll zu entsorgen� Gebrauchte
Batterien müssen getrennt über eine Sam-
melstelle der Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden�
Sie leisten dadurch einen unverzichtbaren Beitrag zum
Umweltschutz�

2 Safety instructions for experts
The following safety instructions draw attention to spe-
cial dangers during the installation and repair of the
Truma products described in this manual�
2.1 Handling electricity
Only qualified electricians may work on electrical
systems�
Observe country-specific and voltage-related rules
and regulations�
Take account of the vehicle's specific features�
Ensure the necessary workplace safety and wear
personal protective equipment�
2.2 Battery voltage 12V
Parts of the appliances are supplied via the on-board
power supply by 12Vbatteries� In case of high elec-
trical loads or a short circuit very high currents may
flow in the cables which make the cables hot and may
lead to cable fire�
Follow the installation instructions� Especially in-
formation about cable cross-sections, fuses and
insulation�
2.3 Appliance safety
There may be information attached to the appliance�
Observe any information attached directly to the
appliance�
Keep the information in a completely legible condi-
tion and do not cover it�
There may be protective devices attached to the
appliance�
Risk of injury if the protective devices are missing or
defective�
After installation, make sure that all protective devic-
es (covers, safety instructions, earth cable, etc�) are
present�
Replace faulty or unusable protective devices�
2.4 Original spare parts
Using parts (additional components, spare and wearing
parts) outside the manufacturer's specifications can ad-
versely affect the function and safety of the appliance,
damage the vehicle and limit the warranty and manu-
facturer's liability�
Only original components, spare and wear parts
from TrumaGerätetechnik GmbH & Co�KG should be
used�

3 Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery for bulky packaging may dif-
fer from the following breakdown of the individual
packaging�
1 x Truma iNet Panel or Truma iNet X Panel
1 x connection cable iNet X 0�5 m
1 x fuse holder with 1 A fuse
1 x connection cable TIN-Bus
1 x operating instructions
1 x installation instructions
4 Installation
The control panel is supplied with voltage via a connec-
tor cable� Truma devices and accessories can be con-
trolled by means of various interfaces� Depending on
the product variant, other appliances from third-party
manufacturers can also be connected and controlled�
4.1 Choosing an installation location
• The control panel is suitable for wall mounting on a
level surface�
The wall may be between 7 – 15mm thick�
• Install the control panel in a location that is protect-
ed from moisture and humidity�
• Install the control panel at eye level or higher so that
it is easy to read the display�
• Consider how the cables will be laid (power supply
to the control panel, control cable to the appliances)�
Choose a suitable place for the control panel in a
clearly visible location�

4.2 Making the installation opening

Mark the installation opening (Fig� 1)�
To do this, transfer the dimensions�
Make the installation opening�
4.3 Electrical connection
The control panel and the devices to be controlled with
this control panel must be connected to the same 12 V
circuit�
Protect the positive cable with a 1 A fuse (near the posi-
tive terminal of the power source)�
Feed all cables to the control panel through the in-
stallation opening from behind and connect them
to the control panel� Lay cables in loops to avoid
tension�
It must be possible to pull the control panel out of the
installation opening by approx� 20 cm� The plug-in con-
nections must not be subjected to any tension� Do not
pull on the cables when they are connected to the con-
trol panel�
Guide the control cable to the devices to be connect-
ed (heating, air conditioning, accessories, etc�) and
connect it to the control panel (TS1, TS2, CAN, CI,
TIN)�
A TIN distributor (part no� 36120-01) can be used to
connect several TIN-capable appliances to the TIN
connection�

Connect the open end of the iNet X connector cable
in the vehicle with unswitched 12V operating volt-
age (steady plus)�
Connect the iNet X connector cable to the control
panel�
For strain relief, fix all cables with a cable tie to the
lug (Fig� 2-1) on the back of the control panel�

4.3.1 Connecting temperature sensors
If a room temperature sensor is used, then this must be
plugged into the TS1 connection�
If an outdoor temperature sensor is used, then this
must be plugged into the TS2 connection�
If other temperature sensors need to be connected,
this will be described in the corresponding product
manual� A temperature sensor that is plugged into
the control panel can be used for temperature con-
trol of the Combi (from year of manufacture 2019)�
The room temperature sensor of the Combi can be

left on the Combi, but it is not taken into account by
the control panel for temperature control (Fig� 3)�

4.4 Insert the control panel
Bend the installation clip (Fig� 4-1) on the back of the
control panel inwards so that it sits horizontally in
the housing above the inspection window (Fig� 4-2)�

Push the right and left sliding latches (Fig� 5-1) on
the control panel against the springs (Fig� 5-2) until
they click into place on the housing (Fig� 5-3)�

Insert the control panel into the installation opening
from below (Fig� 6-1)�
Gently press the housing against the installation wall
(Fig� 6-2) until you hear the sliding latches click into
the top edge of the installation opening�
