FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Remove from below the vehicle any protective sealant from the points of contact
between the shell and the tow bar; then paint the uncovered parts with rust preventer.
The holes for the tow bar's fixing are available.
1. Disassemble the rear bumper.
2. Disassemble and eliminate the inner reinforcement's crossbeam.
3. Disassemble the exhaust pipe's rubber support.
4. Lower the rear side of the heat guard cladding.
5. lace components “B” within the spars in correspondence to holes “1” and “3”;
insert screws in position “1” and fix interjecting the wide washers.
6. lace tow beam “A” within the spars in correspondence to holes “2” and “3”; insert
screws and then fix interjecting the wide washers in position “3”.
7. Tighten all bolts and nuts with a tightening torque as shown in the enclosed
layout.
8. Connect the wiring to the socket (usually given apart), following the car booklet's
instructions “use and maintenance” as shown in the enclosed wiring kit layout.
9. FORD MONDEO Wagon: Make a cut on the bumper's lower side as shown in the
enclosed layout.
10. Reassemble the heat guard cladding, the exhaust pipe's rubber support and the
rear bumper.
