SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure that the towbar is suitable for the vehicle before starti g the
i stallatio .
For safety, all work i volvi g towbar i stallatio (i cl. electrical compo e ts) must
be u dertake by skilled tech icia s.
Damaged compo e ts must be replaced with ma ufacturer’s spares a d fitted by
qualified staff.
It is forbidde to make a y modificatio or structural repair to towi g assembly.
The towball must be kept clea a d lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50
mm) must be checked at regular i tervals. If the towball measures less tha 49 mm
after selected readi gs across the diameter, the towball must be replaced with a ew
o e.
After 1000 km of towi g, check torque setti gs for uts a d bolts, i accorda ce
with the table.

•Remove a y mastic from co tact poi ts the pai t with a ti-rust pai t. The
ecessary holes have to be drilled out.
•1 Lift up the i er boot trim, remove the spare tire from its casi g.
•2 Remove the rear right screw to fit the heat shield support from u der the vehicle
j st if it interferes.
•3 Locate item D i side the boot, it has to adhere to the rear wall a d side wall of
the carbody, the drill out the floor correspo di g to holes 2 a d 4. Remove the
cou terplate, e large holes 2 i sert spacers E, re-locate the cou terplate the fit
i terposi g large washers o poi ts 4 from u der the vehicle.
•4 Locate item B i side the boot, it has to adhere to the rear wall of the car body
a d to the side of the spare wheel casi g a d drill out the floor correspo di g to
holes 2 a d 3. Remove the cou ter plate e large holes 2 i sert spacers E, re-
locate the cou terplate, i sert the screws a d fit i terposi g u der the chassis rail
plate C fitti g it just o the most far mou ti g poi ts.
•5 Re-fit the heat shield support fitti g it o the fro t part to the origi al screws
while o the left rear side, locate it to screw 2 already i serted the fit.
•6 Locate item A referri g to holes 2 o the right a d to holes 3 o the left
i terposi g i positio 3 large washers the fit.
•7 Tighte all bolts a d uts as per torque setti gs.
•8 Co ect the wiri gs to the socket.
•9 Cut bumper as showed.
•10 Re-fit the i er boot trim the re-fit the spare wheel i its casi g
