Cleaning Instructions
Before cleaning, ensure that the Aeon Flex is turned off
and allowed to cool.
Use a damp, microfibre cloth to clean the Aeon Flex. The use of
detergents for regular maintenance is not recommended as a
deposit of detergent will be left on the surface of the emitting side.
Regular cleaning of the luminaire is strongly recommended. In
harsher conditions, it is recommended that a strict cleaning schedule
is in place to ensure no eroding chemicals are left on the surface for
long periods. Take care not to damage the surface of the luminaire.
Do not use high pressure cleaners.
Dimming
Must be used with a dimmable driver. Please refer to driver
instructions for pairing of suitable dimming system
Wiring
This luminaire must be used in conjunction with a remote 24V
Constant Voltage electronic control gear. Multiple luminaires must
be wired in parallel.
• Please make sure that during installation
the predetermined bending direction is never
changed. The product may also not be twisted.
• Aeon Flex shall not be bent sharply.
• Aeon Flex is a non-traficable luminaire.
• For installation of products, careful handling is
absolutely necessary.
• The maximum single run length of the Aeon Flex
is 8 metres.
• IP67 connectors have been included. However,
please ensure the electrical connections
maintain its IP67 rating if extending.
• Surface must be free of dust, grease, oil or
separating agents.
• The installation surface must be dry and clean.
• Due to production, tolerances in linear expansions
of up to 5mm should be expected (in width by up to
+/- 1mm).
• Please ensure that the Aeon Flex is not installed
over the joint of 2 profiles to avoid shearing effect
which could cause a damage to the Flex PCB board
inside the fixture.
Power Supply Requirements
Power supply units used for operation should ensure
the following basic protection and safety features:
• Short-Circuit Protection
• Overload Protection
• Overheat Protection
• SELV(Safety Extra Low Voltage) Equivalent
• Best temperature for assembly is between +18°C
to 35°C.
Accessories
The Aeon Flex is supplied with the following basic
accessories:
• 4x Mounting clips per metre
• 3x End caps
• Additional 1x male and female IP67 connector with
200mm lead
For additional clips and/or connectors the following
accessory kits are available separately:
• Top Emitting Accessory Kit (AA002)
Incl. 20x clips and 5x end caps
• Top Emitting IP67 Accessory Kit (AA001)
Incl. 1x IP67 Male+Female connectors

Mark out orientation of Aeon Flex.
If shortening is required, ensure set cut
lengths are followed. Refer to cut marks
on product for cut lengths. If cut, please
use additional end caps to reseal profile.
Install supplied mounting clips in
suitable locations.
Note: Locations will differ depending on
the shape. It is recommended to install
clips at the curvatures of the flex.

Install Aeon Flex onto
mounting clips.
Ensure mounting clips are clipped
correctly onto the grooves of the Aeon
Flex to prevent the luminaire from
moving during operation.
Plug Aeon Flex into suitable
24V DC electronic control gear.
Refer to power supply requirements.
Termination of wiring and installation of
the product shall be conducted such
that the luminaire’s stated IP rating is
not affected.

Cutting Aeon Flex
Cuts can be made at every 50mm for standard CCT or 100mm for
RGB. Cut marks have been printed on the bottom side of the flex for
easy marking.
When cutting Aeon Flex to size, ensure that the cut is made in one
steady motion at a 90° angle to the strip. This will provide a clean
surface for the end cap to slide onto and secure to.
Once the cut has been made, place a small amount of adhesive in
the end cap and slide the endcap onto the flex, ensuring a complete
seal to maintain its IP rating. Follow the instructions of the adhesive
to provide enough time for the adhesive to dry and hold the endcap
to the flex.

Mark out orientation of Aeon Flex
and install mounting clips in
suitable location.
It is recommended that there is a
mounting clip installed every 500mm.
Install extrusion onto
mounting clips.
Ensure mounting brackets are clipped
correctly onto the grooves of the
extrusion to prevent it from moving
during operation.
Install Aeon Flex
onto extrusion.
Ensure Aeon Flex secured tightly onto
extrusion to prevent it from moving
during operation.
Plug Aeon Flex into
a suitable 24V DC driver.
Refer to power supply requirements
above. Termination of wiring and
installation of the product shall be
conducted such that the luminaire’s
stated IP rating is not affected.
Installation with Mounting Clips Please read instruction manual on both sides carefully before bending product.
Extrusion supplied separately.
Installation with Extrusion
