UT345C Gas Tank Level Checker User Manual
Introduction
UT345C is a portable gas tank level checker adopting ultrasonic detection technology .
This product can quickly determine how much gas is left in the tank by LED indication.
It is easy to use, accurate and reliable. It can be used in places and fields such as food
processing, campsites or barbecues, gas tank sales, and catering. It has a flashlight,
making it ideal for measuring in undesirable lighting conditions.

Product Structure Operation
Schematic picture:
Indicator light color
Red and green indicator lights keep flashing: Measuring.
Green indicator light: Liquid detected where the probe is pressed onto the gas cylinder.
Red indicator light: No liquid.
Flashlight
1. Press the flashlight switch to turn on/off the flashlight.
2. The flashlight will turn off automatically after being turned on for 10 minutes to save
battery power.
Cautions
To ensure the measurement accuracy:
1. A dirty ultrasonic probe can lead to inaccurate measurements, especially when measuring
aluminum cylinders. The probe (red rubber) should be cleaned with a wet cloth (without
detergent) when it is dirty.
2. Dirty or rusted cylinders can affect measurements and require cleaning or gently sanding
the tank for surface contaminants.
3. The product must be held horizontally when measuring. The probe should be 90 degrees
perpendicular to the cylinder wall.
4. If the red and green indicator lights keep flashing and no second beep is heard during
the measurement, it indicates that the measurement is interfered or the cylinder measured
is not in the scope of application. Please change the measurement position.
5. Measurements may also be affected by:
If the battery power is low, replace the batteries in time.
The measurement position is the curved outer wall at the top or bottom of a cylinder.
Cylinder movement causes the gas liquid inside it sloshing.
There is an invisible area of rust inside the cylinder.
The cylinder surface has a thick coat of paint or sticker.
The outer surface of the cylinder freezes.
The outer surface of the cylinder has condensation.
The cylinder is dented or severely scratched.
Clean the housing:
Clean the housing with a damp cloth and do not use corrosive cleaners or solutions, as
they can corrode the housing, especially the rubber of the ultrasonic probe.
Remove the batteries if the product is not used for an extended period of time. If the
batteries are not removed, battery leakage can damage the product.
Do not disassemble this product or alter its internal structure.
Due to different batches, the materials and details of actual products may be slightly different
from the graphic information. Please refer to the goods received. The experimental data in
the manual are theoretical values and all from Uni-Trend's internal laboratories, for reference
only. Customers cannot use them as bases for placing orders. If users have any questions,
please contact customer service.
Measurement steps:
1. Press the ultrasonic probe horizontally onto the gas cylinder. The buzzer will beep,
and the red and green indicator lights will keep flashing, indicating that the measurement
is underway.
2. After pressing the probe for 2 seconds, the buzzer will emit a high-pitched beep,
indicating the end of measurement. The indicator light will turn red (no liquid) or green
(liquid detected) according to the measurement results.
3. If the probe is pressed and held for a long time, it will keep measuring. In this case,
the angle of the probe can be adjusted slightly and the measurement can be repeated
to obtain accurate measurement results.
4. If the probe is released, the measurement ends. The indicator light remains on for 5
seconds according to the measurement results. The product will automatically enter
standby state after 5 seconds.
