GENERAL INFORMATION
Warning alarms are designed to provide an audible warning when the vehicle is reversing or under other hazardous
situations. A range of models are available to suit all applications. Ensure that the model you are tting is
appropriate for the intended use.

Connect your alarm to the vehicle as shown in the wiring diagram above.

FITTING
Select a mounting position at the back of the vehicle, which will allow your alarm to operate properly, even in
adverse conditions:
• Mount in a position which allows the unobstructed sound projection to the hazard area.
• Mount the alarm securely through xing holes provided.
• The alarm must not be tted facing upwards or downwards.
• Protect from impact, ying objects and dirt.
• Keep away from high temperature areas around the engine or exhaust.
N.B. Do not install a Self-Adjusting Alarm in a conned space where an echo eect may interfere with the self-
adjusting volume operation.
