NEVER LEAVE CHILD UNATTENDED.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD
RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH:
• Audible “click” must be heard in order to determine that each lock is in the proper
position. To ensure proper locking engagement, check to see that the bassinet
handle cannot be disengaged from the stroller without unlocking the device.
• Bassinet attaches ONLY in the rear-facing direction, so infant is facing the user.
• Bassinet must be removed to fold stroller.
• Maximum child weight 20 lbs (9 kg).
• Maximum child length 25" (63 cm).
• WARNING: To prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to
push up on hands and knees or has reached manufacturer’s recommended maximum
weight, whichever comes first.
• WARNING: Child’s movement can slide carrier. NEVER place carrier near edges of
counter tops, tables or other elevated surfaces.
• WARNING: NEVER use the bassinet carrier as a means to transport an infant in a
motor vehicle.
• WARNING: Use of bassinet cover is recommended for added safety of your child.
See page 5 for installation instructions.
• WARNING: The bassinet should only be placed on a low, dry, firm horizontal surface
when not in use with stroller or bassinet stand.
• WARNING: NEVER place carrier on beds, sofas or other soft surfaces.
• WARNING: Do not permit other children to play unsupervised next to the bassinet.
• WARNING: Unit may become unstable if a parcel bag other than that
recommended by the manufacturer is used.
• WARNING: Open flames and other sources of heat, such as electric heaters,
gas ovens, etc. in the immediate vicinity of the bassinet are dangerous and should
be avoided.
• WARNING: This bassinet is only designed to be used with the CRUZ stroller frame.
• WARNING: DO NOT use the infant carrier if it is damaged or broken.
• STRANGULATION WARNING: Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place
bassinets with strings around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
DO NOT suspend strings over a bassinet or cradle or attach strings to toys.

FRAME AND FABRIC CARE:
• All fabrics are removable except the outer
bassinet base.
• For removable fabrics, hand wash in cold water
with mild detergent. Air dry completely and away
from direct sunlight before re-use or storage.
• The bassinet base fabric may be sponged lightly
using a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Allow it
to dry completely before re-use or storage.
• To extend the life of your bassinet’s fabric, keep it
clean and do not leave it in direct sunlight for long
periods of time.
• DO NOT fold or store the bassinet if it is damp
or wet, nor store in a damp environment.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR:
• Inspect your bassinet periodically. Seek prompt
repairs, replacing worn or broken parts as
needed. Check all safety devices, locks, harnesses,
bassinet handle and bottom for correct and
secure operation. Never continue to use a product
that is structurally unsound.
• Only UPPAbaby replacement parts should be used.
It may be unsafe to use parts supplied by another
manufacturer.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
• Infants have suffocated
i n gaps between an extra pad and side
of bassinet or on soft bedding.
• NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter,
or padding. Use ONLY the pad, mattress
and sheet provided by the manufacturer.
• Infant bassinet can roll over on soft
surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER
place bassinet on beds, sofas, or other
soft surfaces.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS Pediatricians
recommend healthy infants be placed
on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise
advised by your Physician .

BASSINET OPERATION
STEP 1: Insert the posts on the sides of bassinet
into the slots on the frame. Push until you hear it
“click” on both sides.
STEP 2: Check carefully that the bassinet is properly
attached to the frame by pulling up on the bassinet
carry handle.

STEP 1: Collapse bassinet canopy by simultaneously
pressing buttons on both sides and pushing back.

STEP 2: Lift fabric liner and mattress out of the
way. Disengage by pulling steel braces from their
respective sockets.
BASSINET ASSEMBLY
SET-UP THE BASSINET
STEP 2: Fold back liner.
STEP 4: Replace bassinet liner and mattress.
STEP 1: Remove mattress.
STEP 3: Pull both steel braces firmly into their
respective sockets. Make sure that both braces
are properly locked in place.
STEP 5: Raise bassinet canopy by simultaneously
pressing buttons on both sides and pulling up canopy.
When upright fasten canopy to Velcro straps at top
of liner.

STEP 6: ATTACH BASSINET COVER
STEP 1: Place the closed end of the cover over the
bottom of the bassinet, and pull the cover toward
the top of the bassinet.
STEP 2: Fasten the ends of the bassinet cover to
the outside of the canopy with the Velcro strips.

Your UPPAbaby item is warranted to be free from any manufacturing defects for a
period of 2 years from the date of purchase under normal use and in compliance with
the operating instructions.
This warranty cannot be extended and an extended warranty cannot be purchased.
This warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original retail purchaser and
is only valid when supplied with proof of purchase. PLEASE RETAIN PROOF OF
PURCHASE FOR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
The warranty is valid only in the original country of purchase. This warranty is subject
to the conditions set forth by country in which the items were purchased. Conditions
may vary. UPPAbaby will not ship replacement or repair parts out of the country
of purchase.
UPPAbaby will provide replacement parts or conduct repairs as determined fitting by
the company. UPPAbaby reserves the right to exchange item with a replacement part.
Some parts may be replaced with newer model parts as the item is improved over time.
Please note that a repair issue will NOT be covered by this warranty if:
• The issue is caused by misuse or poor maintenance. Please refer to this instruction
booklet for guidance on item use and maintenance.
• Damage is caused by improper installation of UPPAbaby parts and/or accessories.
Please refer to this instruction booklet for guidance on item assembly and use.
• Damage is corrosion, mold or rust caused by lack of maintenance or service.
• Damage is due to general wear and tear, which is the result of everyday use or negligence.
• Damage is caused by sun intensity, sweat, detergents, damp storage or frequent washings.
• Repairs or modifications are carried out by a third party.
• Item is purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Approved retailers are listed on our

• Debe oírse un “clic” para determinar que cada seguro ha sido ajustado en la posición
correcta. Para garantizar que el cierre de bloqueo se ha ajustado de manera correcta,
compruebe que el capazo/asa de transporte no pueda soltarse del coche de paseo
sin desbloquear el dispositivo.
• El capazo se acopla SOLO orientado hacia atrás, de modo que el bebé quede de

INSTALACIÓN DEL CAPAZO
PASO 2: Doble el forro hacia abajo.
PASO 4: Reemplace el forro y el colchón del capazo.
PASO 1: Quite el colchón.
PASO 3: Inserte firmemente ambos soportes acero
en sus respectivos encajes. Asegúrese de que ambos
soportes estén colocados en la posición correcta.
PASO 5: Levante la capota del capazo presionando
simultáneamente los botones en ambos lados y tirando
de la capota hacia arriba. En posición vertical sujete
la capota con las tiras de Velcro de la parte superior
del forro.

PASO 6: COLOCACIÓN DE LA CUBIERTA DEL CAPAZO
PASO 1: Coloque el extremo cerrado de la cubierta
sobre la parte inferior del capazo, y tire de la cubierta
hacia la parte superior del capazo.
PASO 2: Sujete los extremos de la cubierta del capazo
a la parte exterior del capazo con las tiras de Velcro.

CUIDADO DEL ARMAZÓN Y LAS TELAS:
• Todas las telas son extraíbles excepto la base

• NO plegar o guardar el capazo si está húmedo
o mojado, ni guardarlo en un ambiente húmedo.
MANTENIMIENTO Y REPARACIÓN:
• Revisar periódicamente el capazo. Obtener un
servicio rápido de reparación, y reemplazar las piezas
desgastadas o rotas según sea necesario. Revisar todos
los dispositivos de seguridad, seguros, arneses, asa y
base del capazo para comprobar si su funcionamiento
es correcto y seguro. No continuar utilizando nunca
un producto que esté estructuralmente defectuoso.
• Deben utilizarse solo piezas de recambio de
UPPAbaby. No es seguro utilizar piezas suministradas
por otro fabricante.
• Póngase en contacto con el Servicio de atención
