INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the VTech®2-in-1 Musical Mobile learning
toy.
The VTech®2-in-1 Musical Mobile is the perfect travel companion for
baby. This soft mobile features three brightly coloured plush insects that
dangle from the beautifully illustrated canopy and attaches easily and
securely to the carrying handle of an infant car seat. For added fun, you
can remove the canopy and attach the plush insects directly to the light-
up flower attachment to transform it into a rattle. Press the light-up button
or activate the motion sensor to hear a range of melodies and 4 playful
sing-along songs that teach colours, objects and insect names.

WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets,
packaging locks and tags are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE: Please keep this instruction manual as it contains
important information.
Demo strip removal:
When the product is taken out of the packaging, please remove the
demo strip from the unit to activate normal play mode.
GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the back
of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen
the screw.
3. Install 2 new ‘AAA’ (AM-4/LR03)
batteries following the diagram inside
the battery box. (The use of new
alkaline batteries is recommended for
maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten
the screw to secure.

BATTERY NOTICE
• The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum
performance.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being
charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision (if removable).
• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be
mixed.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are
to be used.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• The toy is not to be connected to more than the recommended
number of power supplies.
• Do not dispose of batteries in re.

Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on
products and batteries, or on their respective
packaging, indicates they must not be disposed
of in domestic waste as they contain substances
that can be damaging to the environment and
human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where
marked, indicate that the battery contains
more than the specified value of mercury (Hg),
cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in Battery
Directive (2006/66/EC).
The black bar indicates that the product was
placed on the market after 13th August, 2005.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
With the VTech®2-in-1 Musical Mobile, safety comes rst. To
ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required.

Mobile
1. Take the fabric strap from one of the
dangling insect characters and thread
it up through the tab on the mobile
canopy. Fasten the velcro-like material
securely.
2. Attach the remaining two dangling
insect characters following the
instructions above.
3. Take the fabric strap on the top of the
mobile canopy and thread it through
the slot on the flower head. Fasten the
velcro-like material securely.
4. Clip the parent lock onto the car seat
or stroller. Check to make sure it is
attached securely.
5. For your child’s safety, when securing
the parent lock to a stroller bar or car
seat, please use the additional fabric
strap. Thread the strap through the
slot on the parent lock and secure the
velcro-like material. Check to make
sure the mobile is attached securely
before use.

Rattle
1. Take the fabric strap from one of the
dangling insect characters and thread
it up through the slots on the flower
head. Fasten the velcro-like material
securely.
2. Attach the remaining dangling insect
characters following the instructions
above.
PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF/MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/
MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to the
PLAY MODE ( ), 5 MINUTE MUSIC
MODE ( ) or 10 MINUTE MUSIC
MODE ( ) position. To turn the
unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/MODE
SELECTOR SWITCH to the OFF ( )
position.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech®2-in-1 Musical Mobile will
automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without
input in the play mode position. The unit can be turned on again by
pressing any button. Please note, activating the motion sensor will
not turn the unit back on.

ACTIVITIES
1. Slide the on/off/mode selector switch
to turn the unit on. You will hear a
song and a fun phrase or sound effect,
depending on the selected mode. The
light will flash with the sounds.
2. Press the light-up music button in play
mode to hear a variety of songs,
melodies and sounds. In the music
mode position, you will hear a variety of
melodies that will play for the duration
of the set time. The light will flash with
the sounds.
3. Activate the motion sensor in play mode
to hear a variety of sounds and music.
In music mode, you will hear a variety
of sounds and short tunes. The light will
flash with the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to
moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions,
please follow these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of
batteries.
